I'll download it when its leaked but then I'll buy the album as well just like I did with BOTT. I downloaded that about 6 weeks - 2 months before its release. Then I bought it as well.

Surprised people saying boring about the bit they've heard. I kinda understand it in a way but disagree as well. I imagine that Crawl is going to be the first single from the new album and I feel that bands often release tracks that might seem a little "boring" - usually appeals more to the masses.

I'm not the biggest fan of King of the Rodeo in the terms of it being one of their less exciting songs.

Basically, I think that the new album will be amazing and this will be the first single but KOL fans will have several other tracks on the album.

from what iv heard of it i LOVE IT!!!!!!its just made me thirsty to hear more,after all we have been waiting for something new for what seems like a lifetime!
i dont think it sounds 'boring'at all,its one song off whats going to be the best album of 2008

when I think about it. I agree with nachos main cheese on this one. I think they have lost their 'soul' a little bit here

The guitar and stuff sounds great but one of the things about the kings songs is the lyrics, that i could never dream of, and that make me get funny images in my head like 'shakin' your apple right in my face, only when you know that i'm begging for a bite'. the lyrics hear jst seem quite repetitive and frankly quite dull. I'm not going to be like most and pretned that its awesome when i don't actually think it sounds that good.

hopefully it will sound a little better on the actual album.

i like it when people upload unknown songs on youtube coz you can listen to them clearly, with popular songs they're always singing

thats interesting you say that - especially that they 'lost their soul' .... thats what i thought after I listened to it the first time - but I couldn't put my finger on it
the music sounded hmm not the right word but 'superficial' ?
but the more i listen to it i cant get it out of my head! and as great as it was to have the recording (karma mookie!!!) it wasn't brilliant sound - so I am sure it will be better on the album.

Im half and half on this song, I do like it but in the same respect i really want to hear something really rocking like Charmer, black thumbnail etc I cant really make it out too well so hopefully it will sound a million times better on cd.

Sometimes a band will try out these new songs live to see how they sound but then decide not to put them on the album, I remember when the killers kept playing All the Pretty Faces at the festivals and everyone thought it was going to be the next single but they scrapped it and put it as a b side so you never know whats really going on the album.

I think i will reserve proper judgement until i hear it better and as a full song

i think thats the best thing to do, at first listen i dont think it sounds as good as a lot of their other stuff but i cant really tell from wot iv heard so far

the other one on youtube "manhattan" as it seems to be known as, i think is awesome tho

anyone else think it has an Arizona feel to it? not too much or anything, just reminds me of it for some reason

I think its a Grower thats what it was like for me with BOTT so ya i like it more the more i listen to it but ya i prefer Manhattan!
