Umm, I'm doing this from memory so forgive me if it's wrong.

Click on "profile" then click on "modify profile". There will be a box that says "signature". Type whatever you want in there and that will be the writing in your signature underneath all your posts. If you would like a picture, find a picture on google image or photobucket or something. Make sure it has... before the url and... [/img] after it. That should have a picture in your signature. To have an avatar, lick on the avatar box. Instead of the before it I think you have just have a website url of the avatar you want. And that should be you sorted! Hope I got all that right...

Make sure that you've entered a valid URL in the "Avatar URL" section, which should end in an image file extension such as .jpg. In other words, when you put what you've entered in that bar into your browser address bar, it should take you to a page with only the picture you want.
