I was in WH Smith's and noticed that NME magazine are now doing birthday cards and they have a KOL one  It's quite cool the front is a very old pic (one of them as they first came out) and on the back (a sort of fold out poster) is the shot of them at Reading last year outside their trailor. |

My birthdays not until December but i think my mates should purchase these now so they wont forget!

Hi - I'm not sure if they are limited edition. There are cards for other bands too so maybe they have started making them permanently. I have checked the WH Smith website but can't find any trace of them on there - I recommend just dashing down and buying one asap!!  |

i went to smiths yesterday and couldn't find them anywhere  however, i found rock sound with a million page patd spread so i left happy. |

i went into the bedroom yesterday morning to get ready for work and there was an envelope on my pillow with "amycakes" written on it. i opened it and inside i found said kol nme card! my bloke had bought it for me as a well done for finishing my exams! sometimes he's just the bestest!
it is indeed a very old pic (early y&ym era) but it folds out to a poster of a pic taken at reading fest last year (the one where they're stood outside the portacabin). it currently has pride of place next to the tv in the living room!

YAY! I was just out shopping with my freind and we were in smiths, so naturally I straight away thought of this and went off to look at the cards (there's a really big card bit in my local smiths so I was pretty lucky). So when my friend caught up with me I had found it and went off on a rant about KOL for ages and how much I loved them and then she just grabbed it off me and bought it (probably just to shut me up but hey thats cool). I am one happy person right now! Only issue is it's not my birthday for another 6 months and I cant look at it till then  |

Kings are in this weeks NME its just a tiny bit on the last page!
It starts with the kings then works its way through other bands then ends up going back to the kings!
It shows the connections between them
If that makes sense lol
