Maybe not so much anymore, I am not sure. But really the Donna's got pretty big a few years ago and I think they are more widely known than KOL

Haha golden, I just was talking to a friend and I was like I need to transfer to a school down South. Rolling Stone just put out that college guide and the biggest music scenes are down South. The closest I have is St. Louis and it really isn't that fantastic. I got accepted to the Savannah College of Art and Design but my parents didn't want me to go out state, maybe I could re-apply and try to convince them again...

Here's what I'm guessing happened - There was already a show at Vanderbilt scheduled for The Donnas and then The Kings got added. It's probably considered a "co-headlining show" now. It does look like The Donnas play first now and then The Kings. I'm just happy to get a chance to see 'em again.

Well guys if it is in the basketball gym don't get too excited. it is great the two bands are playing here but that venue leaves alot to be desired. Acoustics are kind of bad and the view if you are in the balcony is terrible. and guess what no alcohol sold at the gym. boooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want to bring anyone down but go early and drink ahead of time or bring the airplane bottles of your liquor of choice.....have fun.....

I'm applying to schools in a lot of different places (all out of state)...but I'm not gonna lie... I'm definitely leaning towards the schools in big music cities. well, basicallly nashville. haha. natefc, schooltardy, did you either of you/ do either of you go to Vanderbilt?

lmd88, It was a Donnas show, the Kings have been added. The Donnas are playing first now, Kings second, so The Kings are headlining. Though they might consider it a "co-headline" show.
golden, yes, I did attend. Will you be coming through town to visit the school?

I really loved it, and my applicaion is pretty much complete -- I guess now all that's left is to send it in and let the chips fall where they may. what was your experience at vanderbilt like?
