yeah i liked those ariel shots..but yeah again, it was almost all reading...
it wasnt even a proper review..wheres the set list, the commenting on the music, the style, improvements, things they liked/disliked, the crowds reaction, comments on the music, improvements, things that have got worse...why did they just really focus on the bands image..shesh! it makes me mad...

The KOL v's Razorlight piece in NME really wound me up! NME are well know for being very 'oxbridge' but that just proved it! HHMMMMPPPPHHHHH!! x

I saw them at Leeds to!!!! It was totaly amazing, it was my best friends birthday that sunday and KOL are her favourite band so it was a bonus. She didnt know i was going either so i suprised her there. The NME review sucked. I was stood near the flag and i got a bit trampled and punched in the side of the head (i have a bruise ) but it was well worth it.

sorry for not getting back sooner, but the kings were great at leeds. N M E sucks. nathan kept pushing everyone along to get all the tracks out . trani was as brilliant as ever, never saw caleb mouthing to go home .they were well recieved by every one, people singing along left ,right and center. The only thing that was abit shit, was no really good effects, foo fighters lights were out of this world, lazers that went 500 yards up into the sky, it just blew you away! It seemed as if everything was saved till last . Most other groups had written backdrops, but nothing for kol. It did seem as if there was no effort put into it. sort of get it over with ,so much so that i won t be going again! I ll go to a kings gig only ,its so much better. Razorlight were nothing to write home about, the charlatans singer didn t even know the words to his own songs, he had to keep looking at abit of paper. All american rejects were pretty good, except the kings, of course.

you missed some great bands on the other stages though! arcade fire, editors, nine black alps, artic monkey and dogs (that's who we saw) amongst others. we did see the end of the charlatans and the beginning of razorlight (before going to see arcade fire.............we then left them 10mins before they finished to get back for kol! foo fighters lasers were amazing! my pics dont do them any justice though!

The kings' set up was the same as their U.K tour with the plain backdrop. I liked the simplicity of it, rather than the ponce of half of the other bands

Exactly, the way the shadows played across the white backdrop was amazing. Leeds was the first time i saw KOL live, and i am definatly going to see them again given the chance.

Don t get me wrong, simple is very effective as always with k o l, they don t need stage props like razorlight, but on such a huge stage like that i felt it was somewhat lost. At the end of the day its the music that they want to get accross, and i definetly think they did!

put it on your xmas list!! dear santa........................... come back soon guy's!! I will be haha Well if they are goin in the studio round Oct/Nov time n already have 8 songs n lookin at a early release next yr, when was it now February or summit, i don't think we will have to wait that long, coz europe may get to see em first with them already doin a huge American tour, it might not be a huge tour at first maybe a few selected venues just to start with, like they did before ash came out, they played some small venues before the tour at the end of last yr We shall see, don't want them to be knackered n stuff, we want em full of energy hehe
