Lots of destruction throughout Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. I hope the boys and their families are o.k.!
Please send your good thoughts to those affected by this weather disaster...

"Southern US states mourned Thursday after tornadoes wrought havoc across the region, killing 55 people and injuring hundreds, smashing buildings and flinging trees like matchsticks.
Dozens of tornadoes sliced across the region late Tuesday and early Wednesday, leaving a trail of destruction in five states and deaths in four, in what US media called the deadliest US tornado outbreak in two decades.
In hardest hit Tennessee, the death toll rose late Wednesday to 31, with one other person presumed missing, the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency said.
Thirteen people were killed in Arkansas, seven in Kentucky and four in Alabama, and hundreds of people were injured in those states and in Mississippi, officials said."
It's horrible. I feel terrible for everyone affected by this. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

yeah this is really sad...the weather has been crazy here in the midwest the past few days/weeks. the people in TN, however, are usually prepared and used to these type of natural disasters so i'm sure they were safe. they have those shelters built in the ground and also know when to go into the center of the house...that's the idea, anyway.

i saw it this morning on the news!!! that's terrible...... i was planning on going to Tennessee in june... now i'm scared! hope they're all ok June should be OK. Around the South our active tornado season typically ends around the last of April. Actually they list it from March to August, but somehow those seem to be the calmest times. Granted there are some freak occurrences year round. But I will be in Tennessee in June for Bonnaroo. WooWoooo!

Hi this is my first post and I am from TN and where the boys live there were no storms, so they are safe. The closest storm to them was about an hour from where they live. Thank you all for your nice thoughts and concern.
