^^ Hey Lih, no what happened was Radiohead were doing a guest DJ slot on a radio show in the UK and they played songs that they liked. They were acting like regular radio DJs if you understand? I know it's a bit confusing! Hey! Ohh I got that now, thanks chandler

how did you get into the band? Through my husband - he's a Pearl Jam fanatic. A few years ago in an interview Eddie mentioned how much he liked KOL so my husband decided to check them out. We've been obsessed with them ever since. I truly believe they are one of the best bands of all time. And you?

Oh i love Pearl jam! Eddie Vedder has got such a fantastic voice, he seems like a genuine nice guy as well. I saw them in Lisbon and he was trying to speak Portuguese to the audience, it was really cute and i know my friend who's Portuguese appreciated it, overall it sent the crowd into adulation overdrive! he was talking about surfing off some picturesque beach somewhere. It was mad there cause central Lisbon -even those who weren't going to the gig- were celebrating the fact they had come and there music was played everywhere in the bars and stores. I'm in England and havn't seen that happen, it's more of a so what atmosphere here so it was nice to join in with the party. I can't really remember how i got into the band, i was dissapointed with their last album, i havn't really listened to it properly though so maybe it's one of those where you have to give it a chance. not sure. anyway i think red morning light got me into them, i loved the vid and i ended up going to a gig shortly afterwards. it was such an exciting time. i don't know what's going on with where they are with things now. have they broken america yet? mrsbrightside, yeah i thought that too! it's rare they say anything isn't it? maybe the band paid them to say it lol it's the only plausible reason for why they would have

have they broken america yet? Not really, and I just can't figure out why. I blame it on their management - they get absolutely no radio play over here. And I'm not too keen on their choice of singles, either. I mean, they had a great opportunity to show America what they're all about on the Jay Leno show and they chose to play Charmer. I think that was a big mistake. Part of me likes the fact that they're not really big here yet, because then I get to see them at smaller venues. But the other part of me feels bad that they put out such great music and tour their asses off and they're still not that well known over here. I have a feeling that will soon change, though......

oh i like Charmer i guess it doesn't really show the scope of what they're capable of but it's a good way to catch people's attention. i hope they get some head way soon, if that's what they want, i reckon they deserve it. there's no real rush though they don't sound like they're running dry of ideas and what's the big deal about breaking America anyway?

I get what you mean, how you guys get to see them at smaller venues. But the first time I saw them was at the SECC which is a big venue, in glasgow and it was absolutely amazing I mean, the guys really looked as though they were enjoying themselves and they looked happy about how the crowd took the songs. I also feel bad for them, I mean, what if they think people hate them??

I agree with Chichi, i have to say that in America you always find that its the rap/hip hop/r'n'b that gets more airplay, I dont think radio stations over there are as open to playing new music as we are in britain (but i could be wrong), so these kind of bands dont get much of a chance, the killers kind of broke america by being in the OC more people got to hear about them, but as much as i love them (dont kill me people! lol) i think they sold out just a bit, and i cant see Kings ever doing something like that. But who knows all i can say is most of America is missing out on some great music

So, if radiohead (or at least a member) think they're the best and Noel Gallagher thinks they're pretty damn good... I think it almost has to be true, that they're the current best band in the world.
