iam sorry... you lot are listing really good bands on here!!! we as kol fans like good music!! and we should be hating all the band that stop bands like kol from getting the recollection they deserve!!! such as the enemy, hard fi, the twang, scouting for girls......ect they are all shocking!!! SHOCKING!! bands like radiohead, perl jam, white stripes, oasis (all the ones you've put on here) have broken ground in there time!!!...and that SHOULD be respected!! weather you like them or not!! sorry but that is fact! peace!! I don't think we are disputing that - it's a purely personal thing, i am aware of Radiohead's greatness and respect where it's due but they just don't tickle my ears like i like! I am def on board with the new wave of insipid bands who are clearly pleasuring NME staff on an hourly basis and not with their spankin tunes!! Hard Fi - i can get with some of their stuff Enemy - A young Jam....ish maybe? But they are freakishly small, i have issues with that!

Oh yeah, thanks Babyblue for the Karma, And Molly - good selection my friend, but if she starts with Horrorshow she may run scared and not make it to the genius of Time for Heros. I'm not slagging the tune - i love it, but it might be a little die hard for a first time listener. ?? I might be wrong? But Chic - persevere!!

Oasis, The Beatles, The Smiths, Nirvana, Pearl Jam.... They are amazing bands!! By the way, what is that only Pearl Jam tune that is alright? Anyway, I'll continue listing bands I hate: Ficherspooner, Placebo, they are depressing and Brian Molko is just as annoying as Matt Bellamy... and not that they are a band, but I hate 2 Many Dj's, too.

Try starting with Time For Heroes then Chich. And you're right - I'm not saying I can't see why people like the bands I've mentioned, they just really don't do it for me. I think my dislike for Oasis stems from their hyping themselves up beyond all proportion, and with every album post-What's the Story not really living up to that hype, they've set themselves up for a fall. But yeah - loads of people love 'em. Whatever. I don't get it, but whatever.

Okay, I went and bought those 6 Libertine songs from iTunes. I thought maybe just listening to 30 seconds wasn't doing them justice. I'll listen to them a few times and get back to ya. If I still don't like them, then Molly and Izzy owe me $6....or a beer.

You can't even tell the guys from the gals. That whole band is just wrong ... really wrong. They sing about farting after consuming too many beans

I also don't like Pearl Jam seems boring. Oasis- yep some good stuff and then werid, boring cd's. I don't generally like r'n'b and I loath too sweet, ballad-like pop music

I also don't like Pearl Jam seems boring. Thank god. I almost felt bad for missing their gig at Werchter. I went seeing Gabriel Rios instead, even though I have seen him play like a hundred times before. I can't argue the fact that they must be a great band, seeing as they sell millions of records and are an example to bands like The Strokes and Kings of Leon. But their songs just don't move me the way other bands can. I did love Eddie's little duet with Caleb at Werchter though! But that was for a whole different reason .. haha .

i've actually seen a lot of these bands mentioned and most of them are awesome "live" bands! U2, Muse, Bloc Party, Foo's, Arcade fire and others but the only two i would never pay to see again are Kaisers and Hard-fi!!
