yes, yes it does. It sucks that they went and made like 80 sequels to it and ruined the whole thing.

yeah it seems like there are no original movies, they're all remakes, or they're based on a book, or it's a sequel of a sequel. Same with tv shows and all of these dumb spin offs and reality tv. Although I'll be the first to admit I'm a reality tv show junkie, it's such a car wreck, I just can't look away. And I went to the american idol auditions so I have absolutely NO room to talk. Anyway, indie films seem to be holding it down though, we have a big film festival here at scad every year and there are lots of great independent films, so I still have hope for the future. It's the music industry I'm worried about.

It's the music industry I'm worried about. Do not even get me started on the music industry. I could rant and rave all night about it. I decided that I only want to do indie movies. That's why I love off-broadway so much. I tried the Broadway thing and it's just not for me. Broadway is way too...by the book for my taste.

yeah...the whole movie to broadway thing isn't settling very well with me. I keep considering changing my major because I'm afraid I'm going to graduate and the music industry will have gone to the crapper and no one will be hiring, or there won't be any money in it. Anyway, yeah, indie movies are where it's at! Abstract movies are my favorite, the ones where you really have to think about them, and maybe they really aren't meant to mean anything, but it gives everyone something different...if that makes any sense lol. Did you see that movie "The Gymnast"? I cried the whole time, just everything about it, it was overwhelmingly amazing. *blush*

wow....I almost didn't mention it because no one ever knows what I'm talking about and then I feel like a moron. This is so weird!!!!! Such a gorgeous movie, the main actress (I can't remember her name) came for the screening here and so did the director. I always wanted to be an acrobat (I have no idea what you call what they were doing with the fabric and stuff...but it was amazing!) After I saw the movie I went to the park with my roommate and we tried to do tricks on the monkey bars and stuff at the play ground good times.

Aw she's pretty. I'm just glad he chose a 'normal' pretty girl instead of some skinny whore with lots and lots of make up (Remember Caleb and Kimberly Stewart? Ew.) i second that...theres a picture of jared and who i think is her in the jared photos thread.... i think its her..he is wearing gloves and overrals (only jared would do so).... she looks so much prettier in that photo (in the jared photos thread, IF its her that is)...
