On Wikipedia it says that they use their middle names like a Welsh tradition - I'm from Wales and I don't find it common here. Maybe some other Welsh people can correct me?
The 3 brothers remind me of my family as I have got 3 elder brothers called Anthony, Michael and Steven (close to Ivan???) spooky, eh?

I keep wondering about the middle name thing and both my grandfathers went by their middle names, I have no Idea why though and they had no idea who you were talking to if you used their first names. Bless

my grandparents always go by their middle names too. it was so confusing growing up thinking they were called granddad or nanna and then you find out they've got a ton of other names too! bit excessive, and REALLY confusing for a young 'un

Correction:
Yeh it is a welsh tradition and i know alot of my family go by their middle name but alot of them originate from welsh speaking places and places where there isnt such a large english influence.
Hope it helped and i have no idea about why they go by middle names themselfs, its not unheard of i spose as a family tradition.
xx

i dont have a middle name- so even tho my name is unfortunately rosemary, i cant go by a middle name, since its non existent!! i guess that would be the advantage of having a middle name, u can just swap! lol
i prefer the followill middle names, personally,,,they suit more somehow! Michael is just soo older? mature? my uncles name is Michael... i like i like...but jared suits better... .and Nathan is sooo not an Ivan..he is, but he dont suit it at all!!!!!!

I've got three brothers too...Benjamin, Levi and Joseph...lol. they don't remind me of KOL in any way possible!! except maybe bodyshape....tall, lean....but really strong when they punch me!!! ps did I do this right? quoting that is?

Yeah you did! Your brothers have good names, I like Levi! It's not so good that they punch you! I'm quite glad that I don't have brothers if they're mean!

they're alright most of the time. we get on well. but my little brothers (no.. make that younger - much taller than me) used to box, and practice on me sometimes!! yeah i don't mind Levi - not very common tho. hehehehe when we were young - getting a cd signed by wolverines at a concert....the lead singer goes "Levi...hmmm are your parents hippies or something?" ahhh no. far from it. maybe it's one of those 'had to be there' times. makes me laugh tho.

Also, I quite liked growing up with 3 elder brothers - you learn to look after yourself and pack a good punch!!
