the graduate is winning b/c their from illinois. the newspaper holding the competition is an illinois based paper. No one who has voted doesn't care about talent. They're just representing. Did you see the comment about the guy who went to school with one of the Graduate's members? It's completely unfair but don't sweat it. It is what it is!

There is no justice. I will never understand supporting a band merely because they're local or you're friends with one of the members ... develop some taste, fucking emu.
My theory : they played charity shows at all the deaf-mute schools across the US and that's their fan base. It's the only logical explanation I can arrive at without bursting into tears at the desperation of humanity.
The Graduate's music makes me want to stick my foot under an elephant's hoof as he takes his next step to distract from the pain in my soul after listening to that motherfucker whine like a 13-year-old who just had his Playboy collection confiscated.
