I'm OBSESSED!

Apologies for wrong place or other mistakes, I'm kind of new around here!

I'm rather ashamed to say that although I already owned YAYM i didn't really get into the band until this year and the new album! But now I'm obsessed and nobody understands! My family, friends and work colleagues either don't care or are fed up of it! So I needed to contact like minded people before I went mad!

Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for stuff they've done other than YAYM, ASH and BOTT, random stuff I should know about the band and here, or just offers of support and friendship to help me through the obsession. Please share your wisdom!

welcome...honestly i feel at home here...wen i first mentioned KOL at school my friends were like HUH?? yes..so uneducated wen it comes to freakin' sick music!! but now i must say theyre getting there..i mean they know who dave grohl is, and taylor hawkins....they too know the names of each KOL member...but i must admit this knowledge they have acquired can be attributed to how much i talk about them, and dream about them, and cry about nathans engagement and calebs haircut (i do like it) and how sexy caleb's arms are... and OFCOURSE how theyre music is AWESOME!!!

trust me, no one thinks anyone is a freak here...its a common interest, thats why i like it, its alll KOL, so i dont get funny looks or the "just shut up, i dont care" look..hehehe

Thanks! I've realised it's good to share an obsession and they are totally worth obsessing over alexaaa! I think it's worse because I'm only just discovering ASH and I can't stop listening to it, it's brilliant! To think what I've been missing!

Will definitely be checking out any b-sides I can find and searching around on here is a great way of sorting the craving for KOL info! I've been up very late on the internet recently when I should be going to bed...

And groupielove, I so agree about Caleb's arms!

I was born in Cincy, OH ...and the only reason my friends know them is b/c of me, but they are spreading the word. I am obsessed too, it is a little crazy, my friends think I'm weird as all hell.

it's weird! none of my friends know about them either [i'm from ohio]. if i say kings of leon they're not even familiar with the name!

I'm really the only one of my friends who are into them. The only reason why they know of them is because of me. I actually met my best friend at a KOL concert. It turned out we lived right down the street from one another for almost ten years and never knew it. How is that for destiny?

That is such a great story!

I want to meet a new best friend at a concert! I'm going to Wembley in December, anyone else?! I love my friends to bits but their musical tastes are not really my thing, they need educating! At the moment I generally have to drag my sister along to shows, but even she isn't really loving the kings, no idea why!
