yeah that's what sucks about the internet is you never really get to meet anyone. it's probably a good thing cuz if some dudes heard us talkin about tight jeans and straightening our hair, i reckon we'd get our asses kicked. well, we would here at least, people aren't very accepting of great things like this.

I remember seeing Caleb and Jared on V 2004 talking about their hair and Jared was like "it's usually alot bigger than this but I have it thinned", I felt so close to him at that point... hee hee.

I promise I have picture proof that Jared and I have the exact same hair basically. Until I discovered thinning and the straightening iron I had his YAYM style- big, poofy, and only semi-straight. At the parties I really looked, cause one of my friends was like do you comprehend you and he have the same haircut, and we actually do. I love pretty boys so I don't mind, but I don't know which one of us that looks worse for. A guy and a girl sharing the same hairstyle is considered odd, and made odder by the fact that his is longer than mine.

People probably thank the lord that I discovered the straightening iron. When I was little I had the whole spiral curl cuteness going for me, but then I started getting chemically straightened and I did that for like five years. Now my hair just doesn't go curly. Just overly wavy, kind of sad but only cause some days you just don't feel like fixing it and going natural but I can't really do that now cause my hair sucks.

I have never in my life straightened my hair and i'm not about to start. My hairdresser thinks it's blasphemy, she cant understand why I dont want to straighten it. I like it wavy like. There are girls I know who have straightened their hair so much the tips have been burnt white and it's like straw. Not attractive.

The fake plastic girls here all have that hair texture. And they wonder why their hair is so "fryed"

I was in Sweden recently and my Swedish friends thought I was insane by the fact I'd straighten my hair, put perfume on and make up just to go for a walk - I was like it's just what I do!!! They'd tell me we won't see any boys!! It's so not about boys, I just like to look nice and I'm sure most of you will agree with me here X

You just get used to doing those things so it feels weird not to. Recently I've been letting myself go a bit but I'll have to start making an effort when I move up, I can't frighten strangers with my just-out -of-bed or greasy hair looks. I wouldn't straighten my hair if I had lovely natural waves but it is so vintage KOL if I don't and I just can't pull that off!!!

Yeah man, I'd say we'd most definetly get our asses kicked... Dude they don't know what they're missing out on... Like straightening your hair, once your pants start getting tighter, there's no going back! The amount of money I've spent on like Tsubi's and Paper Denim & Cloth jeans that I just don't wear anymore cause they're too loose! It makes me sick. I almost got into a fight for wearing tight jeans on Saturday... I just had to smile and wave, and keep walking! Not worth the trouble. Someone was going on about the like girls with straw hair before? I know that look so well! It's disgusting, and the like orange skin from too much fake tan! haha, it's hilarious.. Someone needs to tell these girls about fucking conditioner for gods sakes!

Yeah it sucks eh?
My heckler's weren't quite as agressive as yours, I think it's cause there were lots of kids around (I was at my flatmates rugby final)..
I just got the "hey bro, nice jeans (sniggers)" "rock on!" "is that a boy or a girl?"
there was like 8 or so of them, and they were drinking beer and stuff.. They'd had loved nothing more than me to give them a reason to beat the crap out of me.. No thanks..
I've heard the 'fucking faggot's" one plenty of times though, it's a popular one.. That's for sure.

You've gotta pick your battles... and remind yourself that you've got much better hair than they do.
It's much safer to just make snarky comments about them behind their backs...
"hey buddy, cool baggy jeans, have you heard of that band Limp Bizkit? Yeah they rooooollllllleeeee doood?"
that's actually one of the most fun things in the world.. People watching and sarcasting nasty commenting.. Goes very well with a nice glass of wine and a cigarette on a night out..
