I'd already been posting pics of the guys for over a year on this other forum I go to, but recently finally made them a dedicated thread and the ladies are liking them. The one who likes Matt has 2 albums (ASH & OBTN), the one that likes Leb has a SOF-daughter.  |

Oh we're talking about turning people on to KOL now? Well I know I'm obsessed when I can't be friends with someone who doesn't like the kings because I get personally offended when people knock them. And I'm with you Nik, I usually recommend BOTT and earlier either because they have already heard OBTN or I just want to show them something a little cooler.
Also I know I'm obsessed when I realize that my entire history with my girlfriend can be traced back to when we saw a KOL show wayyyy before we started dating and from there developed a mutual obsession with the band that eventually grew into HA status (I'm a full-time member, she's just a lurker). This obsession drew us closer and closer since we seemed to be the only KOL lovers in a town of haters. Look where it led us. Our entire day yesterday was spent listen to/critiquing CAS, what a date.

Awww, a KOL-based romance.  Yah, i get offended if there is no constructive criticism, but only, "well, KOL suck". I dont think that they are perfect, and i have some beef with their live shows, but generally, Il defend them till people give up and run away.  Definitely never recommend OBTN, not only b/c it's not my favorite, but also i dont want a newbie to get fixated on Sex On Fire, and then never hear True Love Way or Knocked Up or Soft. |

Aww, thats cute. My friendship with one of my best mates has evolved around our love of them. We've been lucky enough to go on some crazy adventures together and share some amazing times going to see them. Our mutual friends think we're a bit nuts but if we weren't quite so obsessed we wouldn't have had half the fun we've had in the past year |

I had to run a training session at work - going through the V-Lookup process in excel. And the 'students' had to compare a list of members enrolled in the plan to a list of RSP contributions to be applied. I had to make up at least one person I knew would not be on the plan so I used Christopher Followill. One of the girls in the session is a friend outside of work and would have recognized the name if I had used Caleb, Matthew, Nathan or Jared Followill. |

I always name characters in video games after KOL related things. In Harvest Moon, I have used Molly, Caleb, Matt, NaLeb, and Jatt to name my chickens and cows.

I name my stuff after KOL things, too. My ipod's name is Caleb & the computer got named Matt. My mom was reading a magazine, turned, looked at me & said, "Isn't that Caleb the guy you have have a huge crush on?' I just responded with a huge smile on my face. For me it's when I'm bored in my college English class or just bored in general, I think about Caleb, Matt & Jared. They take over the mind very easily. |

when im reading a magazine,i found the news that the brothers cohen are filming a remake of " true grit " and Jeff bridges plays the rol rooster cogburn,of course and I could not stop thinking about caleb, and because of his nickname. Did you know his middle name is Leon? ahaha Crazy, right? |

I saw Southern Country Delight cupcakes the other day, right next to the red velvet ones. Both of them made me go, "Mmm, Caleb".
I don't know what a Southern Country Delight cupcake is, but I want to eat it. I'm gonna go back to the store this week and buy them.
