are they daggers? or is one an anchor? nathan looks so funny, cause he's all spread eagle in the ones where he's sitting down. the first pictures are just kind of funny in general...they're all sitting around this tiny little pit of sand with toy buckets.
btw, on the note of the debut of manly man jared -- he has been wearing his hair curly lately!

Both are anchors, I believe (from what I can tell). I noticed Nathan sitting all spread eagle too haha |

it's so hot here too! I mean, texas just has funky weather in general... one day it's 80 and the next it is 40, but it has been especially strange this winter...
it has been 70 practically every day! nothing like having dinner on the patio in the middle of january!

I went to the Sydney BDO, and took some photos on my phone and video, but it was from a phone so they quality is very poor. I was up front on the baracade and a bit to the left. Unbelieveably good show, I heard caleb saying to the other guys, "come on brothers just like the beach boys", which i thought was interesting. And I think caleb may have spotted me once same with nathan, cause i did whatever i could to get their attention, all in all a great day. BDO rules! Next up their sideshow on saturday night woohoo! Twice in 3 days oh yeah!

Wasn't too hot.
I'm sorry guys. I liked the Kings Of Leon, but seeing them put on that piss-poor show destroyed my faith. I still like their choons but the boys are to obsessed with their image to interact with the crowd. They stood and played the songs looking cool. You could have put scarecrows up their and played the songs. I don't understand how you think it was a good show? You must not have seen many bands.
Iggy Pop on the other hand. PHWOAR.

soo what if the dont interact with the crowd that much!?!? i mean, that doesn't change the fact that they are awsome live!! i don't think that affects the show. i think that you have too many pretentions with that...if u really dig their music u r gonna enjoy the fact of being there and hearing the songs, no if they flirt to the crowd or not.
the point is that they put a really great energy on stage and u totally feelthat. too bad that u don't.

Its a case, I guess, of that its different for each person. Ive been a huge KOL fan since the release of youth, and I enjoyed their set yesterday. I thought it was great, they were tight and the songs are amazing.
And I have seen alot of gigs, and this was the 4th time ive seen KOL. I thought they played well, maybe the guiters could have been a bit louder but that the only complaint I could say.
I just spoke to a friend that didnt enjoy Iggy, so like I said before, each to their own.
Oops, forgot to say that I just watched the interview on channel v, i think nathen did just got his tattoos. He had put cream over them, which i had to do when i got mine. It was a funny interview, nathen did most of the talking. He said that they share everything, even hot girls at bars. Which was a bit.... gross. But its an anchor on each of his arms, i think.

I get what you mean about them just standing on the stage at BDo looking pretty. they did the same thing in Auckland. Still absolutely loved the show though. It was my first KOl concert and i enjoyed myself immensely.
I got nurnt that day too, even though i was smothered in sunblock
oh well
eeeeeee, still buzzing a week later

Ok this is hard to admit, I personally thought it was heaps cool to see my favourite band live and so close, Ive been wanting to for so long now, but Iggy and The Stooges were incredible. KOL have a chance to 'redeem' (not that they need to in my opinion) themselves tonight however when I see them at enmore woohoo! |
