Hi all! Since I popped my HA posting cherry last night in the "you know you're obsessed when..." thread I thought I should formally introduce myself. My name's Karrine (pronounced 'Karen' for those who don't speak French - which is everyone I know outside of my family) and I'm from Cowtown - Calgary, Alberta. I love most kinds of music and love going to live shows. My favourite bands/artists of all time are Depeche Mode, the Smiths/Morrissey and Pearl Jam...showing my age a little there. And now, of course KOL. I have almost 20 tattoos. Because of my 1st fave KOL song I have 'Switchblade Posse' and 'Guns from the South' tattooed on my feet. If I had more money at the time I would have had the 4 kicks switchblade and a vintage Colt .45 done on each foot too. Of all my tattoos these hurt the most and I can't imagine getting tattooed there again. I've been enjoying HA for some time as a nonmember, but finally decided to join up when I wanted to peek into the "Share Stuff" thread. I became a fan of KOL when I was researching bands playing Bonnaroo 2007 (I didn't go, but my co-worker did). My fave KOL songs of all time (so far) are Four Kicks, Trani (specifically live) and Closer. My fave Followill - if I had to choose just one to run away with - is Matthew. Thanks to all for the already warm welcome. |
