Why don't you just delete them, Sarah? They never post and seem to be just taking up space and whatnot. Or can't you delete them? I've been meaning to ask this for a while because I remember someone saying this a while ago but cannot for the life of me remember the answer  There's just so many posters (and duplicates it seems) with 0 posts. Maybe you could delete the ones that have never posted or who haven't posted in a year or something? |

It could be very difficult to judge who is inactive as just cos they have no posts doesn't mean they aren' readers. It would be nice if everyone posted but some people are just timid I guess. Plus I reckon theres plenty Leons and spare followills read but don't post. I like it with lots of members cos the top 10 posters doesn't work I know a few people me included who've had their heads done in by that feature. I'd estimate the time going through the database and trying to thin it out would be a job that would take days. Like its possible to filter them automtically but that would probably delete old freinds who may pop back from time to time.
Plus and, its probably just me who is so psychotic enough to do such things but I have an account in the name of Jane which doesn't work cos I changed the password and deleted the new key on purpose so neither I nor anyone else can re-register as Jane. Theres many many reasons and perhaps some sleeping dogs should be left to lie.

yeah i did look into doing that but there's no easy way to do it unless i go through 2000+ pages and look at each joining date and post count. there should be a 'delete members with no posts' button but there's not unfortch.

Ah okay, it was just an idea, but obviously if it would be a big hassle/delete people who may want to reappear or who just like to read and not post, then that's alright. just thought i'd ask!  |

I was wondering the same thing too! Glad you answered this question.
Whose name was it that was blocked. Like we can't even type it without it coming up as something else. That always confused me. Maybe those people were before my time....

totally agree... well, i don't post so much, sorry but i try to read and understand all that people post.
