the accidental clicks.
the only adds i've ever clicked on are by accident. When I started using the net I ended up clicking by accident on ads and having no idea what was happening. it must happen to hundreds of new users every day.

But advetiseing doesn't sell products, it creates the myth of a product, below the level of concious thought and encourageing consumption. For example a Coca-cola advert, may not sell Coca cola but willl encourage people to feel thirstyand the chances are that a majority will reach for either a memeber of the Coca_cola brand products or another brand of Cola.
