Just had a listen to Trani. Right, the piano part is in the crescendo leading up to the chorus. It is just on the main beats of the bar. And it's the note of whatever key the song is in. Sounds heaps like the bass, but has a different reverb quality. Yeah?

well thats cool you know a lot about piano. my mum begged me to learn when i was younger. the result. a dusty keyboard which has been sitting in my room for years!!

why cant she support my drumming interests?? drummers are typically the dumb band member. that suits me fine.

Haha it's the intro to 'Look What You've Done'. The notes in the ccords aren't played at the same time. There's like a split second between each note. Gaah I sound like a pedant don't I?

Regarding "Look What You've Done", I'm gonna play my former band nerd card and say that the piano is not "out of time" as it were, even though the chord notes aren't played together. They are probably grace notes which are played right before the downbeat while still fitting within the tempo and time signature.

As for the piano in Talihina Sky, if it weren't for that, it wouldn't be the same. I heard the b-side version of it and, I dunno, just didn't have the same old timey juke-box mood to it that makes it such a great song.

all of Jet's songs suck..
they arean embarassment to my country..

which song is out of time of Jet's.. they dont play anything particularly difficult..nor would a song get on a album if it was out of time.
