Even the people who've corrected the lovely and talented Jon Webster's insanely incorrect lyrics are getting them wrong - granted, they're less wrong than "and I get peed in the face", but still wrong. Apparently in My Party, "My cocky look emerges when you question my moves" is "I cock and load my mergers when you question my mood". And then there's the classic "my face is laying on the pavement" somehow becomes "my face standing on a treadmill" from Arizona. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD......THERE'S AN ALBUM BOOKLET WITH LYRICS. In the words of Michael Cera, this royally cheeses me off. I'm weirdly anal about lyrics. thats brilliant dont think ive ever laughed so much in my life! surely someone must be taking the piss and wouldnt be that stupid to put lyrics like that up?? (she says  ) mind you my friend thought that 'good times to roll on' was actually ' get a tattoo roller'!!! i mean seriously??? |
