Do you think there might be a fourth single? I know they usually only have 3 per album. But it's becoming more common nowadays for artists to release a shit load of singles...Justin Timberlake has released like 1/2 of his album as singles...or maybe he's just allowed to do that because a huge moneymaker $$$. Anyway it'd be cool if there was one more single after Charmer I'm still bummed there was never a video for Fans. i kind of think there will be because they released charmer so close after fans, and without a video. so it was like a half-assed single. and i dont think their new album will be out for a looong time anyway.

don't people usually put singles out until like 6 months before their new one comes out?

I dunno, I thought they always released the first single from the next album around then, but when it comes to stuff like that I haven't a clue what the protocol is

I'm still surprised they didn't release Black Thumbnail as a single, it seemed like the perfect single to me. But I never understand why bands choose the songs they do as singles

yeah I don't understand that either, I mean, Charmer is great and all, but it doesn't seem like a single to me, it seems like the super secret fan favorite, yes I made that up...but one of those should exist for every band I think

yeah. i feel like if you don't like kings of leon before you hear charmer then you'll never like them because it's really bizarro.

i agree, whenever i listen to it my roommate (who is more of a casual fan, because there is such a thing) is like do you really like listening to this song? and then i start whine about how she "just doesn't understand!!" oh the woes of being such a fan

what!?!? they actually play KOL on the radio where you are? they don't even play it at my radio station and we're supposed to play lesser known stuff! not fair!

haha they still put 4 kicks in like fairly regular rotation. and on call like you wouldn't believe. i heard fans for the first time the other day.

there is definitely no KOL played on any radio in my area. its probably for the best because i only listen to the radio in the car, and if they ever came on i would surely freak out and run into a pole or something. or someone. and that would be very bad.

ha! yeah, wasn't there a conversation a while back about how many of us have had accidents while listening to the kings. coincidence? I think not. my favorite radio station back home used to play them all the time, and I think the kings actually came in and did a few interviews and played some songs, but alas, they had to go off air, now there's nothing but religious radio and pop stations.

we have a pretty good alternative station here. the strokes and kings and regina and amy winehouse and stuff like that. i appreciate it. they sponsor a lot of good shows too.
