by "what do you own" are you asking what we actually paid for? cuz i have all of the albums and singles and b-sides and some live tracks, but i didn't buy all of it. i'll admit some of the goods were results of my downloading disease.

I own what I've found without searching too hard. Albums, Day Old Belgian Blues, Holy Roller Novacaine... and I think I have another single somewhere.
I've got all the songs though. Just not on EPs.

yeah, I'm a nerd. I own all the singles, all the albums, along with the EP'S and LP'S and the rarities as well. The EP'S bought in Tennessee, but most of the rarities I got were just given to me for free by local record stores before the band was even signed yet, but this was when I still lived back home in Tennessee. They're like promotional cd's. The singles I bought from Amazon. I'm not posting this to prove how much of a fan I am or not. I'm just stating what I own...

I have everything but only bought all the cds. I'm very poor, but a huge fan and bought all i could (like KOL shirts for my girlfriend ect.) thats why I'm broke now, lol.
Get this
I bought the first two albums twice, because I left the first two (this was before BOTT came out) on my car infront of my house and went inside and then when I went back out they were gone! SOMEONE STOLE MY KINGS OF LEON CDS! I was so pissed, so I have to buy them again.

Not sure what you mean by 'own'. I voted 'all albums', as that's all I have physical copies of, but I have all the EP and B-side tracks on my computer - but I downloaded them, and thus saying I 'own' them sounds a bit dubious.

Bought them all, not one to download - as I like to have the original & check out the artwork.

It's hard to avoid the whole "they're sexy" thing, because they are, and I'm pretty sure they know it, too. Although the whole crazy/jealous/mean to their girlfriends/"he's so hot" stuff does get to me at times, I try to ignore it. But I can confidently say that I'm not a fan for that reason. I stole YAYM from an ex (compensation for pain and suffering), and went nuts for the KOL sound overnight. That was all I had to go on at the start. I didn't pay that much attention to videos or articles at that point, and I don't think I really knew what they looked like until around Aha Shake, and by then I was already demented for KOL. As for what I own, now I buy or find as much KOL stuff as I can. I'm a nerd too, I like to have full collections of all my favourite bands. Anyway (why do I write really long posts? ), they're seriously talented, and the fact that they're good looking is just a fringe benefit - the way it should be.

I only have Aha Shake Heartbreak and Because of the Times on CD. The only reason I didn't buy YAYM is that I can't find it anywhere in the local stores. Their Cd's are just really hard to find here.

I don't think a "Pissing Contest" about who's the better fans of the band really means much. I say we get as many people recruited as fans as we can, rich, poor, black, white, etc. Who cares if someone has the cds, and/or regularly goes to the concerts. I sure don't. I can't tell you how many cds I've burned and given away to people who have not heard of the band, in the hopes of changing their opinion. Are they less of a "fan" because they got the music for free? I doubt it. Any, now I'll just sit back and watch my Karma plummet.

i'm trying to prove anything but i did get into KOL way before i saw a pic of them. then i saw one and i was all like "eww they're hairy and chubby!!!", and then they lost the puppy fat and i was all like "my! haven't they grown!" and it made listening to them even easier. i love it when good bands turn into pleasant surprises.

I heard the cd's before i saw them and wasn't all that impressed when I did see them I have issues with facial hair (Calebs more than Nathan) but have since grown to love the look although sometimes it's hard to believe there the same guy's esp Caleb. I digress(?) I have a few extra's downloaded but am now on a mission to get the full back catalogue because I am also a geek.

I'm certainly not here because they are sexy...haha, true story: The first time I went to see them I yelled at my sister for wanting to get there early to get a good spot. I honestly told her, "Why do we need to be close? It's not like they are anything to look at." I had only seen the pictures provided on the album art, and it hadn't thrilled me...I pictured grizzly, scrawny boys, and while I liked there music this wasn't enough for me to go gaga for them. Anyway, we got to the show, I took one look at them and took back my earlier comment. But I was a fan of the music before their pretty faces, let it be known.

lmao... wen i first heard the band it was on the radio station JJJ... you know how wen u hear a song of band that u havent seen before?? well naturally u think up an image of the band.. at least the lead singer...dont ask..but wen i fisrt heard KOL's songs on that station i honestly pictured an african american male singing... yes, wen i tell my sister that (she isnt a "fan", she does jog to them tho) she laughs... i dunno why that image came to my head... but i definately thought caleb sang like an absoute idiot (ASH days wen u couldnt understand the lyrics)... although i some how still loved it!! the way caleb sand on the first two records was so damn unique!!!!!! lol. now we can actually understand him!!
