i really liked the bucket, and four kicks. however, on call and king of the rodeo really aren't my favorite. but oh well, they just dont happen to excel at videos and im totally okay with that. they create some damn good music and they can play it well live. that's worth more than a good video.

yeah that's for sure, but it's such a shame, these days u can make such a beautiful visualisations of a song, it's a good medium to infuse ur ideas and take the song further.
i have fallen in love with a lot of songs after seeing their video and directly relating to it.
Most notably, Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence"

Michel Gondry has always made French films, although I think mostly short films, but don't quote me. His movement into English language films, like Science of Sleep and Eternal Sunshine are recent pursuits, but I doubt he's giving up music videos. He has created some of the best videos out there - check out his DVD.

I'm just back on line after a weekend sabatical - is there really no video for Fans? This isn't normal right? That means no TV coverage except the live stuff of which there hasn't been much of either. If it wasn't for Radio 1 sucking the King's ass big time - no-one would even know about this single, how very strange!

I love Michel's work. I mean 'Denial Twist' and 'no one know's' are classic. Don't know if he would be good for KOL, but I'm sure he could do something. I have to say I do love The Bucket and dare I say it King of the Rodeo makes me giggle, but then I'm a country girl at heart!  |
