It's a good song. I like the Guitar solo best, then the Bass.

I agree bout the video, how did they ever give that piece of crap the go ahead. Caleb looks so weird in that video, I can't even watch it

these queers sometimes piss me off with their videos. but their concerts kick me in the teeth and the sick part is I keep wanting more. I figure they were these sheltered religious kids who are just wanting to do whatever the hell they want. It's only appropriate now that they have the chance.

its possibly the most simply song to play ever - even the lyrics are basic
But the KOL made something special on that track, something i cant put my finger on, maybe its the atmosphere or timing, but either way - On Call is a special track

I actually was listening to this a few nights ago and realised how good it is. At first i loved it, but after the album came out it passed my head.

i liked it better after i heard caleb explain it's meaning in an interview. i skipped it for a while when i got BOTT because i'd heard it before on the radio and stuff and i just wanted to hear new songs.

nah, it's a great song, the fact that it's simple doesn't mean it's bad, come on people! they got the atmosphere right, the longing and the darkness and the waiting for someone u want to call on you. And it has some sort of space in between the notes that i found very mesmerising. It's no wonder that in big crowds, this is their biggest hit live. That bassline gets everybody hooked. I've noticed lately that Caleb seems to be singing that song more "mainstream"? If u know what i mean... Well, in any case, they need a couple of more "mainstream" songs to hit a bigger audience, which is their intention anyway, from what i've read in latest interviews....

I've noticed lately that Caleb seems to be singing that song more "mainstream"? If u know what i mean... Yeah yeah...I noticed that too..especially after seeing T in the Park..it's like he's finding his inner voice! Heh nah..but he's allowing himself to sing more..explore the range his vocal chords have or something.

in the car today i was listening to some alternative radio station in my humble town of portland, oregon, when all of a sudden, i heard "on call" playing at the number 3 spot for the listener's choice countdown. i flipped out, considering i've heard kings of leon only about 2 times EVER on the radio ...

The bizarre thing is, it usually plays pop-rock and r&b

The most "alternative" Holland goes is Linkin Park.
