the slo-mo guitar close ups on them all made me laugh.
i dont want to be mean, but it looks like it was made on a 50p budget.
and would it kill any one of them to smile once in a while?

I can't decide...
I'm going to watch it a few more times tomorrow I think to see if it grows on me or not.
Still, it's lovely to see something new of them (that's not a typical live performance, y'know...)

seriously this is one the very few songs that i like in this album and they ruined it w/ the video, its horrible, i think they should have emphasized it more on Jared's bass than anything else cause i think that song is what its about, Jared's bass and nothing else, in my opinion

It sounds like its been cut and pasted cos on live versions its much more laid back and sounds like bidet. The Be there line has always felt like extreme elocution by pro tools to me so no wonder it hurts, |

i just watched it again, like as a reflection. it's better than i remembered! but annyway, i dont like the weird backgrounds, they seem cheap. but actually i like caleb's face and stuff in it. that was the bit i did like, especially when he comes right up into the camera! it is my least favourite video but it has definitely grown on me since my first watch!

I was a bit scared of Calebs maniacal camera staring at first and the way he sings "to beeee there" like someone was poking him in the ass, but, I think i've got used to it now and it's not so bad. I love the fake forresty scenery and the way it ends it pretty cool, def a grower.

Its a good video but Caleb looks like hes acting for the camera too much and he makes some strange facial expressions.

I think its because they didn't make the video with a live performance like they usually do. Caleb was singing along with the track and I dont think he could match how he sang it on the album.

The only thing I liked about it really was the backgrounds lol! Mind you I have only watched it once...... On a hotel telly....when I was drunk & it was late........ and someone else was in the bed to distract me. You know who you are lover  |

I actually really like it. i like the intensity they've gone for, and i love the changing sky with them in the little forest setting. reminds me a bit of the kings of the mods mighty boosh episode. hehe
