Whos heard it then?  Your thoughts??? Surpassed all my expectations:D if you look at what other bands are coming out with just now KOL are just going totally different with every album, unbelievably consistant:D can't wait to see them at the Astoria at the end of the month. |

i think that the album is bloody brilliant, when i heard On call i was disappointed, and Charmer was upsetting to hear as i thought the lyrical content was poor, but apart from those 2 the overall album is really good.
I'm in love with Ragoo and Knocked up at the mo.

i couldn't resist downloading it, i have no patience! but i will most definitely be buying it anyway in april because it is so darn good. i am actually in shock, i didn't think i could like them anymore than i did. woowoo i wil just have to decipher and learn the lyrics now so i can sing my heart out in april |

also to start an album with a 7 minute long epic about pregnancy may seem a risky move, but knocked up is everything i love about kings of leon! haha in the words of a friend "it's the new bohemian rhapsody!"....only obviously far better  |

Very different in my opinion, you can still hear a bit of the old school Kings in it but they've really changed.
I hear a bit of hard rock/metal in there. Which I don't mind, because I listen to quite a bit of hard rock/metal. You can hear it in Charmer and sometimes in Ragoo.
Its one of those records that will take awhile to grow on people but once it grows you fall completely and utterly in love with it.

i will have to listen to it more but at the moment the first half is great up until my party and then the rest just dont hit me like the others, except arizona of course. maybe its cause i need to listen to it more (and believe me, i will!) but ragoo, the runner, trunk, camaro and fans aren't as ... flowing? i think thats the word im looking for, but in saying that fans is growing on me and so is trunk. haha
