did he write horse with no name? No, Neil didn't write that song. A band in the late 70's named America wrote it. Although, it does sound like Neil could have written it.

'Yesterday' could work for KOL - it's a little bit 'Day Old Blues' for the 60s. Wow - that 'This Bird Has Flown' Cd is just... urgh- those excerpts are just horrible. I do like Kweller's 'Wait' though. That's a Beatles song that never gets no lovin' just 'cause it was considered 'not good enough' for Help! and ended up on Rubber Soul to compensate for a lack of material. It's still catchy as all hell. Wow 'Run for your Life' is just friggin' horrible- and I actually like the Cowboy Junkies. Oh well... I would love to see KINGS OF LEON do "Rattlesnake Shake" or "Oh Well" or "Love that Burns"... all three are PETER GREEN's FLEETWOOD MAC songs. Caleb simply has an affinity with Peter Green - whether he knows it or not. (probably not...) Max

Oh well... um i think i LOVE u know!! hahaha fuck man, Rubber Soul has to be ( to me) greatest album EVER!!! when i first heard Run For Your Life i was " NO!! this cant be the Beatles, this cant be," haha i was soo fucking surprised that they would ever write/ record a song like this! its so violent! but its also fucking hilarious that its coming from them u know? also Norwegian Wood and Nowhere Man are such beautiful songs!!! oh and Girl, oh man Girl to me is one the greatest songs ever, man i fucking LOVE that song! and of course In My Life, Michelle, Drive My Car are just beautiful. The whole fucking album is just one great song after the other, I also love With The Beatles, i just think its freaking AMAZING!! i love it! has so many beautiful songs in it. i dont know its just great songs that i love. All Ive Got To Do melts my heart , just Like Girl, and Dont Bother Me, i think is great. Many people say Revolver, but i dont really like it. Well i do bu i cant listen to it all that much cause almost all of the songs creep me out but songs like For No One, Elanor Rigby, Here, There and Everywhere, Tomorrow Never Knows, are just fucking mind blowing, and show how fucking great and talented the Beatles were, and how so deserved the title of "the greatest band ever" is, cause no one compares to them, NO ONE!!!! ok i got carried away, lol

Yup we all know how great the beatles are. I just think it would be out of place if Kol were to cover a beatles song, its like what are yo udoing covering beatles songs? I think they should stick more to their roots in more american folk stuff like neil young (yes i know hes canadian). But if anything they'd probably do a townes van zandt song.

when I talked to brandon from the secret machines, he said that when they and KOL were in San Fransisco at the Filmore they held the first jam session ever there. He said that they did it the first two nights they played there, I believe they played three in a row at the Filmore? I believe they jammed ro Neil Young.

I think they'd do a really good rendition of Tangerine, by Led Zeppelin because they both have that like wide range and scratchy voice

I would love for them to stumble here and read a couple of our posts. I believe Jared used to before it became a members only board Jared if you are reading (which I doubt but I might as well throw this out there)...you guys need to cover Neil Young. This Canadian here would love it
