ordered it last night. out of impulse. there are only 300.   now all i need is a record player.  LOL you don't have a record player... its okay, just put the cover up in one of those displays until you get one. |

I've decided I'm gonna buy a record player this weekend and then go record shopping (of course, I'll buy kol too)
the thing is... I don't know anything about record players! does anyone know which are the best quality? I don't want a brand new one... I want it to be kind of old school.

i got my vinyl today. it's number 106/300 how exciting. the picture on the front is different from the U.S CD too. here's a picture.  only thing i can fault is that there are no pics inside. but other than that it's a beauty. |

haha i cant believe you got the one before me. thats amazing. i no i thought that anyone culd write it on. i swear maybe their just the normal ones and they have taken 300 and and said their limited edition. its still amazing cool tho and well worth the cash.

In terms of record players, you've got 2 options: a Belt driven table or a Direct Drive table. DD is more expensive but will usually require less frequent maintenance. I picked up my record player on ebay a few years back for about $20 (delivered to my door). I've replaced the stylus once since then and all is well. As far as brand name goes, Technics make/made great record players so you can't go wrong with one from them. If you do a google search on "turntable FAQ" or "record player faq" i'm sure it'll give you all the information you need. Good luck D |

mine took a week an a half i think and im in the uk. so i dont know. maybe it takes longer because the post is free in the us.

I got like, 158. It is weird how it is just written on the back. I don't understand what is limited about it. Is it the color of the actual record? Cause it is white?
I really want a record player too.

nope the other is white too. i think iys because if you feel across the sleeve the wrting is raised. i think thats what is limited about it. i need a record player as well.
