Ok, I was watching Discover & Download over on MTV2... and the host guy was talking about how the Kings just released ASH in the U.S. a little bit ago and stuff. But then, he was saying that the guys have been "testing" out their new stuff while on tour with the Secret Machines. Did anyone get a chance to hear any of the new stuff yet???

i did in newcastle, but at the time i didnt know what it was or who it was  coz obviously i didnt recognise it!! we thought it sounded like caleb. but we were just passing the venue, so didnt listen for long it sounded really good tho. it wasnt untill sarah told us later on that they had been testing their new stuff in sound checks that i realised it was there new stuff.  |

are u goin to see them and the pixies i was thinking of goin to that or the one in belfast, cant remember who else is on in belfast, but im short of cash at the min, so think im just gonna have to wait till they tour again  |

I should have tried to listen to the soundchecks. During the shows though, I went to 2 in San Francisco, there was nothing out of the ordinary.

i definitely heard parts of a new song in the soundcheck, because i heard it quite a few times, and then caleb even sung a bit of it during the gig, i cant even remember what song it was before now. it was one of those new little bits he's been doing. it was super cool anyway. and oh the other day it was so exciting, as it came back into my head, very very briefly but i heard it again and it was SO so so so exciting.

oh yeah, we hung around to listen to the soundcheck at newcastle...and we heard one thatw as really clear..they seemed to play it all the way through, and it had a bit of a marching beat to it, if you get me, i also remember him singing a bit about a room with a really large ceiling...
actualy, i recorded about 30 seconds to a minute of it on my phone...its still their..it was recorded from outside so not really clear, but you can get the jist of it
anyone else record any of them?

they most likely will play, some new shit, over in Chile, when they play at "TIM Festival"...
ooo and good news. that might be also broadcasted on TV.. as it was last year with the White Stripes show..

they played a new song when i saw in in brid about 3 weeks ago, cant remember what it was called but it was good that will have probably been head to toe, the girl next to me at newcastle was saying that they night before in the encore they played a new song that she had never heard, when it came on she was like this is the one, and it was head to toe. morag u should post what u heard. was it saturday that u were outside the newcastle gig, we saw some girls listening in, dunno if it was u, but thought id check! |
