How were you able to get on their tour bus?
Was it the Jan 25 show they did at Neumos in Seattle?

yep that was the show. were you there? i just knocked on the door....lol. Well, it sounds so easy to just knock on the door. LOL! Yeah, I was there. My first KOL gig ever. It was awesome. I won tickets by calling in at this local radio station. I got my t-shirt there, that I wear all the time. After the show ended we walked past a tour bus towards the back of the club. Wonder if KOL was in there?

yeah it sounds easy but they weren't going to let me in...i don't know why they changed their minds but they had already turned down two other girls who knocked on the bus. it was my first KOL gig too! I didn't win tix but a friend gave me one in exchange for a ride down to Seattle. I live about 40 mins. outside of Vancouver. And no, I didn't make it to the in-store I was so disappointed. Did you go? sometimes its just pure luck!! and pure beauty!!! lol

Yeah! I went to the in-store. Posted all about it at the in-store thread. I just thought I might ask, in case you had a better view of the band and were able to take more pics.

I'll try. But I get so nervous I can't make myself talk. I need somebody to give me a little push or more people where I'm not the only one talking. I'ts a sad. I know. I had my chance and I blew it. Oh well, just have to fly out to the UK in order to have a chat with the boys.

Oh well, just have to fly out to the UK in order to have a chat with the boys. Alcohol usually helps with that problem, but not too much, you don't want to get sick on them. I recomend bringing a bottle of wine and asking to share with them.

LOL!! Alcohol works for many a thing. Would have to get somebody to buy it for, seeing that I'm only 19. But come to think of it, in the UK aren't people allowed to drink at 18? Great idea though, I'll definetly try that out if I ever get a chance like that again.

i think you're able to drink in restaurants at 14 if you're with some 1 over 18
and i think you're leagally able to drink in your home with parents permission at 5! or something rediculous like that?!?

we can drink whenever we want! no, there are some rules, your officially allowed to drink alcohol (things like beer) at the age of 16, but there´s hardly anyone who takes that serious, it´s no problem to get alcohol at an earlier age. sad, but true, sometimes you can see drunken 13 year olds at parties.

Yeah! I'm not a big fan of the carbonation either. I shake my soda until it goes flat and then I'll drink it. Weird, I know. I don't like the taste of alcohol in drinks either. If I can't taste it, it's fine. But I won't drink it if I can taste the alcohol. Never tried flat beer though, should be interesting taste.

I am considering starting to drink wine in social situations just because it is cuter than drinking beer or hard liquor... and cause the kings have an affinity for wine. Horrible how much I love this band, they are going to make me an alcoholic!
