i heard the songs and yes there is a resemblence
they sound great, they need alot of practice though
but that makes them sound real and authentic
i wonder what they look like
does anyone know how to get there hands on some pix?

i think the 3rd one does slightly, or is it just me?
or it could be just a kings sound-a-like, nothing in particular, but just the genral kings vibe?!

Okay, I requested them as a friend... Has anyone else? Because they only have like 5 and hopefully they aren't like rejecting people... I hate rejection.
I haven't heard the songs yet because this computer I am using is in my school library and there are no speakers... I am going to try and be as unbiased as possible... OMG how do you spell possible...possable..; wow... I am having a dumb moment right now.

Yes, they played last night in Oklahoma City. They are working currently with Downtown Music Box and have their own forum too at: markdmb.proboards31.com/and on the question of pictures...I took some and added them to our links page at downtownmusicbox.com/links.htm scroll down to see their pic... I should be updating their Myspace site this week. Taylor the bassist is a step-brother to KOL and Tyson of course is their cousin. Thanks...yeah...they have a myspace site...but don't fully understand how to use it...give me time this week...and everyone should be updated as FRIENDS with new pics and all...they are recording some new songs...so a new EP should be forthcoming. Please go and leave them messages...Taylor called me tonight about this thread/forum...and was so pumped...and almost speechless.... uuuu its exciting!!!! imagine, theyre still a small band, mybe even barely started and we heard them, so when they blow up like KOL, well be like "yeah we heard them since before they had their ep,a nd we liked them then" so exciting cause ive nevr liked a band since they were starting but im definately liking this one!!!!! |

Okay... I got accepted as a "friend" and I comment first... score!
I really like the songs... I am listening to Jezzabelle again for like the billionth time.
I was totally unbiased when I heard it and didn't think about their connection to the Kings at all and I enjoyed it very much. I thought it sounded raw and the voice just kinda caries you emotionally. The bass stands out as with some Kings tracks but I wouldn't go as far as to say they sound alike. I very much also liked the fact that while the lyrics carry a sorta sad vibe to them the guitar has a more upbeat sound to it... Very cool... Well, that is what I am hearing at least...

the internet doesnt work for a week and i come back and theres all this new stuff...anyway
heard their stuff and love it, it just worries me cuz when they become more known they will always be compared to KOL, no matter what they do!
anyway, who cares their music is good, v. good! im excited to be even slightly in on this!
