i personally think they should release 'milk' or 'day old blues', might be wrong but i can't remember them ever releasing a slower song as a single. i think it would show people they're a bit more diverse than quick punky rock songs.
can't see soft being released as a single though, got to be too 'rude' for radio airplay in britain, definately can't see it beein played on cd:uk

they should SO release milk... i think it sounds better live than it does on the record so i think it'd do well if they promoted it on cd:uk, totp, jools et al. they could make a pretty black and white video to go with it. yes.

of all of kols songs day old blues is the only one that hasn't quite grabbed me yet. although, I'm sure it will. usually it's the ones that I can't get into in the beginning that end up being my favorites in the long run. it'd be sooo awesome if they released milk as the next single! but I don't think it's likely to happen. especially in the U.S. it's a little too risky considering they haven't exactly established themselves on the U.S. charts, and most americans-- who currently, have really really bad taste in music-- would just hear it and think it was really weird and never give anything else of kol's a chance. I'm not saying that kol should be focused on pleasing those kinds of people, in fact they shouldn't at all, and maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see milk being released for a while.

i can see them on cd:uk doin milk, caleb sat on a stool with an acoustic and the slight haze of smoke from the audience smokin weed. Rather see that than Rooster

and i think itd be really cool to be in a kings video but i know after a few watches id be so so embarassed! i wonder what the wasted time girls think about it now...

Maybe they shoud do some line dancing as we have yet to see the boys show off some choregraphed dance moves...maybe they can be the rock equivalent of N'Sync?

Ohhh that would be THE BEST THING EVER. Or they could do that new 'indie' dancing. Is it anywhere else but here? Like the moves are all really angular and sharp with random arm flailings and what not? It looks silly but is ridiculously fun. |

If they did a video for soft they could do it in cool bright almost fluorescent colours like.. really bright and funky 'cos that's the vibe i get off it! With all of us pouting ETCETERA! Hardy har har!

haha, already thinking about the next single, and KOTR isn't released for 2 days....i like it  ooh, i'm not sure about the next single though  but i like what everyone's written (if that makes sense ...ie, i could quote each....get what i mean?). that'd be so cool to be in a KOL vid...ahhhhhhh  , hmm, i wander what the wasted times girlies think now  (ooh, as a not very relevant added thought....i'm from where Bloc Party are from , New Cross....I've got a poster of some "local gig" thingy from last year, and they're on it! of course, I would pretty much be mortified if they actually did that.
but I would love to see someone work their wonders with that concept in flash.
