i think they came over pretty cocky, if you d never heard of kol before then i think reading that article would put you straight off. it is us,the fans, who put money in there pockets, and as quick as you become famous it can all be over as quick as it came too.

I know this is going back a couple of pages but I have to reiterate what csolis said. I just think to myself "gosh, I hope they know that just because I want to talk to them it doesn't mean I want them."

and I am not the best looking girl and they just seem to look at every girl and go "ugly, pretty, hot, im going to fuck her" or whatever. It just sucks to think that they do look at a lot of fans and say oh, she is ugly.. and not think about oh, she is here for the music. They just seem really fucking judgemental. Like, I don't want to fuck them but shit... I shouldn't have to be hot just to attend their show.

But then like, I hear they are really polite and they have been to me I just don't know what to think. I just hate to think that they are really judgemental and stuff. Like, I never told anyone here about what happened to me when I went to go see them last time and I left feeling really good but this just brings me down so much.

I wouldn't dive that deep into it. Comments can be taken out of context and made to fit into an article as the author wants it to. At least thats what I'm hoping for because they aren't going to be pretty forever themselves, and the only way they are going to keep playing music is if they keep the fans that are truly there for the music.

I choose to believe that they are good people because I've never read any bad fan experiences with them.

totally agrre with u!!! like thats how i feel! like sometimes i dont even want to go that early to meet them cause theyre all going to be like "look at this desperate girl" or something, but i think its just me, but liek u know how in one comment they say "the prettier the girls backstage, we know were doing good" or something like that, and that makes me feel bad, like i feel ugly and stuff, i dont know but yeah i just get it out of my head caise I KNOW that im going there early to meet them cause i loe their music and evne though i like Caleb a lot i mean its not why im going to probobly wait there for 9 hours for, im waiting there cause i want to meet the guys that ive been listening non stop for 3 months!!! i want to meet the guys that are making these AMAZING songs!!! and as long as i know that, then its all good

I think people just need to go with what they think & not be too misled by a shitty article. And it does potray them in a bad light but I know that Jared at least is really really lovely & sweet to his fans & thats what matters to me u know?

i totally agree with you prickley ..at first i was really upset cos that article knida portrayed them as being really arrogant...but if you think of all those articles that said that they were really humble and nice and most people on this board have met them and they never said that they were nasty...so i couldnt care less about that article anymore

yes thats why when i feel like that, i think about all the people that have met them and say that they were the nicest people, especially Jared, and i feel stupid! and if i mee them ( thanks sara for wishing me luck) and theyre nice to me i wil feel even more stupid!!! god i hope that they arent reading this thread, lol!

You can never know what they actually said by reading articles, as journalists will do anything to make it interesting for the reader - if the interview is quite dark and depressing then the reader will get into it.. rather then a 'everything is great, life is great' kind of interview.
