I play a short scale Burns Bison circa late 60's with a replacement neck so I can't find any pics that are exactly like mine. But when I get it here I may take a pic of it in all its glory.

yes indeedy that is my bass gate crashin' irish! at the time i thought i'd bought a blue and white one but when it arrived i opened it up to find it was black.....but i love it all the same! and yes indeedy i am loving this thread.....low four! i'm also loving the idea of having jared as our leader.......hooray!  |

Unfortunately I can't play bass I used to blay piano and violin when I was a little girl... But my boyfriend plays bass and guitar since a few years and he's pretty good  He don't like KOL that much as I do so he don't play any songs of them but he told me that he likes the bass part in "slow night so long" and "razz" and now he likes to play these too....I'm very proud on him  and his bass lookes similar to yours, ace  |

All your basses are amazing. I like the range. I would love a thunderbird though. I've noticed that a lot of really hard rock and metal bands have thunderbird bass guitars.
I think we should twist this thread into a tab creation thing... So if anyone has any KOL tabs or any other cool ones they want to share be sure to post them here.
Tomorrow I'll post the version of 'The Bucket' that I play. I am pretty sure it's 100% correct.

Meeeeeeeeeeeee! I play bass ina band!!! I love it i can pick iit up really easily. Ive been playing 4 about a year its rlly cool. I like Kings of Leon stuff and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Flea is an excellant bassist!

Flea is an excellent bassist. My favourite is the Strokes bassist. I think his name is Nikolai.
I also like Tim Commerford of Audioslave/Rage Against The Machine.
