well they just played it...
it's great, i like the woo at the beginning! and i'm just going to listen to it again, but btw, the drum bit at the beginning is great and i love calebs voice throughout.
(but why did that stupid bitch lauren laverne talk over the end bit, they go on and on about this being an exclusive and then dont even let us listen to it all!)

Hello Board, Congrats on hearing it Sel, it was AWESOME, wasn't it ? I mean, I know it didn't sound alot like the "youthful Kings" we originally fell in love with, but it is nice to hear the boys stretching into new sound landscape, if only a limited foray. You taped it Sel, cool, good for you, how did you record it??? Yeah, I know what you mean, about 1 minute into their playing of it , >:(Lauren starts blathering on and on, I wasn't too happy about that part too...hehe . I second the emotion, when you have recorded a clear, dialogue from the DJ free, crisp off the radio "Bucket" recording, could you put it up for download Sel? Again, I'm glad the consensus is that everyone liked it, I e-mailed Lauren at XFM right after it played and said "Play it again and this time darling, please no dialogue." She replied, "Will do!"....hehe! Peace! Sincerely, JamiroFan2000

i heaRd iT! i heaRd iT! i heaRd iT! awhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i had it all in my head what i wanted to say (and i will soon) but for now. ihear radiohead lil bits of 'no suprises' with the guitar? aerosmith and the glue was the stones. i hear whatyou mean about the strokes jamirofan but it's so much mOrE than that!! awhhh i almost cried like a twat when i heard it!! Nathan is showing everybody and proving to everybody how fuckin great his drummin really is! not sure how i feel about that, i liked the reserved talent of it all and loved how he used to like give you glimpses but unless you were listening in the first place because he's so good you wouldn't have necessarily noticed it. but it's gonna be exciting to hear the new stuff and how he drums and what he's done differently and progressed. how they've all progressed. but yeah it was so great to hear it!! it really was it's got a real kick to it and my mum likes it! hehe ohhh shit i wanna say so much but awwhhh i dunno where to start! yeah it's them! they're taking the gd rules of rock and roll and using lotza different bits and pieces of influences and it's soooo gOrGeOuS!! awhhh really can't wait for the album x x x

I bloody missed it and I've only heard the song once at V Festival.
Speaking of V there were massive KOL posters advertising Bucket! They are big and black with a tulip on them!

They were at Chelmsford. It was a massive sign to the right of the main stage. You could see it from miles away!!!

Ok here's my bash at the lyrics. The one's I've highlighted in red are the ones I am pretty damn unsure of! The Bucket Woooooh - fave bit there peeps I'll be the one to show you the way You'll be the one to always complain Me and the money coming bang bang bang All out of fags/facts and I just can't wait Cancel the thing that I said I'd do I don't feel comfortable talking to you That shit got the zipper fixed on my shoeAnd I'll be in the lobby drinking for two ChorusEighteen, balding star Golden, falling heart Don't got to shakeys (?) whats with the rush? Crash/thrash off the pain in my fuzzy rushEveryone's got into/gotta to idolise me I hate the way you touch your Japanese skin Its been too long since I loved the shed/this shitYou kick the bucket and I'll swing my legs Always remember the pact that we made Too young to die but old is a pain(?)Chorus I'ma gonna show the way x 4 Eighteen, balding star I'm sure he says 18 but it would make more sense if he was saying 80. What do u think? I am in love with Nathan's drumming & Caleb's vocals on this song

Hello again Board, Cool news LadyBlackDress, glad everyone is digging "The Bucket" ! By the way, has anyone been able to record it off the radio and be in the process of sharing it online in MP3 form? I'm not expecting a immediate rushing of it online, but you know me, probably won't hear a "Kings of Leon" song on American radio till maybe....hmmm...middle of 2006..hehe! Thanks for listening and Peace! Sincerely, JamiroFan2000
