haha my sentiments exactly blackdress!! surely they have heard of those classic eighties songs 'take on me' (take me onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn) & 'the sun always shines on tv'. maybe they have and maybe on this album they will be noting A-hA as an influence on their clothing choices, not that i actually know what A-hA actually looked like but it would explain their eighties fashion edge. though, saying that i heard from a friend that the killers are new wave and their song 'jenny was a friend of mine' bass line is so EUROPE ... IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNn influenced that maybe the LeOn is one step ahead, along with the killers, in reviving the eighties! I bloody hope not but madonna said way back in the mid nineties, when i used to read vogue that the eighties would be cool one day (and almost there with my point, don't worry wee one!) and maybe those two bands will be the ones to make it so. see point over. if you read all of that tap the top of your head three times and either shout or whisper (depending on where you are and at what time) "well done me, that was kinda worth it in the end"

and nathan is obviously the one with the most sense in that band because he doesn't want to play 'the lets drag ourselves back to the eighties' game .. tHaNkGoD!

Do you think that A-Ha originally had a fourth member who didn't cut his hair, and that's why he's not in this photo? They kicked him out of the band for not joining the short haired 80s club? What if the kings do the same to nathan...?

dead..............................cactus......... how can you say such things i don't like it it won't happen no no no it won't ........................................................... ..................................... well, it wouldn't work anyway. the band wouldn't work without any of them but it deffinatley wouldn't work without nathan because he's the drummer and there are veRy few drummers out there with as much or nearly as much talent as him. it's cause he's experienced you see that's why he's such a great drummer, he knows what works with what and why and so he can let the rest of them go and do their whatever revival eighties thing while he's just being him and keeping their "we <3 the eighties" inspiration in hand. believe me because i don't know what i'm talking about -nOd-

but no more of that talk cactai, it won't happen and no i mean they're family they're hardly gonna kick their brother / cousin outta the band. oh haha i've been looking thru some pics recently and haha it's only now i've started to realise in some of the pics why especially nathan and caleb look so pissed off and matthew and jared are just like oh god haha mann i'd lOve to be a photographer for that band i'd just stand there laughing whilst they bitched at each other! haha i'm nice but you know what i mean family's can be hilarious!!

Oh God. Don't kick Nathan out the band. They'd do an album full of A-Ha, Dollar, Buck's Fizz and Five Star covers. I agree Dirty Bird, Nathan is just doing his drumming thing, getting on with it and the other three are going to dress with big eighties quiffs and leather jackets like A-Ha before Caleb gets a mullet and matching tache and ends up looking like Paul Calf, walking aroung drinking Carling and saying "I hate students." and moving to Salford. He'll make Jared dress up as Pauline. Noooooooooooooooooo. Save them Nathan, save them.

Imagine Caleb doing Take on Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. He couldn't hit the girly high notes with his deep voice.

I would also like to say that it is great that people on this board have a sense of humour. There are some boards that would have thrown big hissy fits at stuff like this, so it's nice too see that everyone here knows that it's all gentle fun and nothing at all personal. I'm sure KoL have a sense of humour too (especially Matthew. Behind that quiet exterior is a man with a wealth of dirty jokes)

looking at that list, they've got really great music taste!! they should have included sisters of mercys 'temple of love' though, it's no more corny than A-Ha and a eighties classic, they both are.
