Stylistically he would seem to have been there.

that sucks. I hope that was just a mistake. why january? I that they are in the studio now and what about the tour dates going to be released? sounds more like a summer coming record with a promo tour before to me. just dreaming, maybe it's all wrong and January is right. BUT I want to see them in my town again!!! If any king's reading this, come back to cologne, please!
by the way at least adam green is coming in 2 months yay!

I think a short promo tour (one gig in each "important" country) before the album comes out and a big tour afterwards. don't know about the festivals. that's what I don't really understand about the kings, performing on all theses festivals without a new album isn't very typical in my opinion. but together with the sentence about new tour dates on the official site it seem to me that everything's going fast with them?

yeah it seems like they've never stopped since they released the first EP. i think they were pretty wary about doing the big UK headline tour with just one record out but yeah, i think the hype surrounding them and their increasing popularity is making things happen a lot faster than normal. maybe thats why they want to wait a while to release the next record, to let things die down a little?

letting things die down a bit will either:
let them die down and then it be calmer when the next record comes out, or
let them die down and then it'll be absolutely mental when it next comes out cuz everyones like 'aaah kings of leon, its been so long we love having you back'
i bet its the second

they've probably never heard of b-sides and their greatness, because every band can do what they want to do without having to fit in the whole album-context...

I knew the bastard would do that (I don't know who exaclty) but record companies like to usually wait two years before an album comes out so they're in the studio now but they'll probably just hold it and tour or whatever until january... but maybe whoever said that was assuming the same things I am, it could be complete crap

I knew the bastard would do that (I don't know who exaclty) LOL!! That made me laugh. I can't wait that long for a new Kings record damn it! No new record surely means not much touring in the UK? They may just concentrate on the US this year? Apart from festivals.
