curiouser and curiouser ...
i just saw it and i am REALLY confused hmmm *raises eyebrow* the interview was with matthew and jared backstage at the palais but i hear nothing! wuh?! i hear nothing! no really i couldn't hear a word that they were saying. the voices were drowned out by the strokes sound check. does anyone know what they said? pleasae help!!

yeah, you gotta love amatuer TV quality, the intro was done in the wind, and the interview was done next to a concert sound chekc. well done boys!
i think i heard somethign about what its like to be in a fmily band. i could have just imagined that though, given that its a pprettty standard question! i also loved the way the camera was aimed mainly at the interviewers too, rather than the boys.
and i could've sworn we were promised jared and NATHAN. i mean, nothing against matthew, but come on people, there was no facial hair to be seen on that screen!

LmAO!! they called jared jacob! with a slight chuckle but jacob just the same. bless them. see kids jacob really does exist and he's a bass player in this rock n roll band..

i forgot what it's like to be around 16 year old boys - it's been awhile - so i hate to say it, but damn that blonde one had the funniest voice... poor lads. i feel so bad for guys having to wait for their voices to break. Drop, testicles, drop!
did you see the first interview with the flaming lips dude (whose name completely alludes me now)? such a great interview subject, so many cool and inciteful things to say, WASTED on teenagers! imagine how cool that could have been with the right interviewer... like me...
(disclaimer: i have nothing against teenagers, nor these people personally, so don't hate me!

i got scared listening to the little one interviewing. it took me bad to those evil days of high school. the memories.. the humanity.. the kids *runs away from tv muttering incoherently* i am afraid. i am verY afraid!
ooH did u see the classy way they used the swanky digi pack as a prop? the skill and subtlty of it all..

yes that was classy, along with the many "photo stills" tehy had, where you could tell they were actually just panning across a mangazine. i loved the way they cut between questions without anything in bewteen, so it was just a big audio jump with slight people movement in between. very homer simpson on hard copy!

the picture montage was beautiful. i am thinking that's why it took so long to be screened hmmm i got a bit nostalgic aw but i suppose kudos to the boys. they are only 16 n all and well they tried. i don't think i would have had the guts to do that at 16. thumbs up to jack n fordy for giving us poor kids kol on normal tv *thumbs up*  the flamming lips interview was gold! did u see the finger over the camera ahahha i had bets with ppl to see how long it would remain. i think it may have made an encore towards the end oft he piece. classic! but yea what i would have given to talk to that man. he was so good with them and drove the interview. he is awesome! |

disappointed with the interview because of the lame questions, but it was okay I wished matthew talked more though.

Hey guys, tonight (thurs april 8) at 2.15am (ok, so technically it's friday, but stil) on channel 9 they have a 15 minute programme called "kings of leon".
it says repeat, and i get the feeling this is a special that i've been hearing about for ages but have never seen, but dang it i'll be taping it anyways!

um, i just watched it and i don't think that good shit is the right phrase! it was 8 min long, really old, and basically just a chopping and slicing of music vids. oh well, KOL nonetheless! and followed by an ep of the monkees too, that's gotta be good!

Go channel 9! they had one on the foo fighters a bit later, that was pretty good, full 30 mins, dave grohl joking about his big nostrils, noice. all good |
