just letting you know a friend of mine is trying to get kol to come back... he rang bmg records and they said that if you email through the official site and request they tour australia..well thgey just might if they get enough response.. kol is still new for some in oz.. but we can chage that..so everyone email away...

They will come back to Australia real soon there's no need to worry. New Zealand on the other hand? Not any time soon! Yet per capita New Zealander's buy more records than any other country. Sucks to live here music wise though Lucinda Williams and James Brown are coming next month. Fuckin A!

that is music to my ears. (apologies to everyone for being cliche) but it's awesome news! that really sux about nz. i actually think that they are getting much more coverage there than in australia. but don't worry when they do hit our shores just jump the ditch and come to oz  |

I think the fact that we're somewhat of an isolated country makes great for moulding young rock teens into fucked up indie snobs who spend all their money on records and getting them shipped in.
I'm happy for life though now that the hardest working fucker in rock and roll is coming here!!!!!

was that the fifteen minute dity thing of clips and early footage of the boys tallking? i was upset by the way that it was edited. the early footage was the same that is used in that doco on the KoL site only the programme chose to chop it up and insert clips and the bad part is leave out a lot of goodies. i know time is a factor and they only had 15 minutes, but i wanted to see the whole doco and not the edited version.  having said taht it is gold not only cos its leon on public tv but cos it's leon on our tele. it's been on about 4 times now i think and they even played it during the day once. aw tis too good. GO KOL, whip the aussies in2 a frenzy cos we lURV it! |

ya in australia they can be strict well not really strict as perhaps a little by the book. bouncers out the front of gig halls will check everyone coming in for id if it's over 18. err that is unless u look over 18. i've passed that number by many a long year but i still get checked 2 grrr it's embarrassing *flitters eye lashes and brushes back hair with a big sweeping hand motion* must be all that olay cos you don't need a full beauty regime when you have olay total effects to fight the seven signs of ageing. *nods head in a graceful and elegant manner* wack !*hits self in head and exercisers the graceful and elegant demons* but again it can depend on the venue. some don't check but that is a rare thing. most of the gigs are in over 18 venues and underage or all age shows are a rare. it's sad.
