hello! sorry the update has taken so long! and i'm sorry i don't have the pictures up yet. i can't updload them at work so i'll do it as soon as i get home. i got really nervous too when we met her cause i didn't wanna seem too eager to ask her about nathan and/or KOL. but i think it worked out fine cause she told us that the guys are rehearsing and working on the new album. she told us, "they've got some great songs on the new one" as if we needed some convincing to listen to KOL's new album. jessie's gorgeous, as was expected and her voice was by far my favorite of the night. my only wish is that our night would've been more crazy cause the three of us called it a night after the show...we're old ladies!!  haha! pictures to come! |

Well we went! It was actually a really good show. Cary Brothers, Kevin Devine (a new love of mine), Greg Laswell, Kate something, Jim Bianco, Ingrid Michaelson and the lovely Jessie Baylin. I admit I was pooped by the end. We had been standing for over 4 hours. Jessie is so much fun to watch on stage. Her free-spirited dancing is so contagious and I really like her voice--so smooth and sultry. We even got to talk to her briefly after the show. Well Laura did most of the talking. I always get nervous and just nod a lot. Jessie's such a sweetheart, very gracious and humble. So we got a few updates. Her album is out everywhere June 2nd. As for the boys, they are writing new material and might play Coachella in '09. Am I leaving anything out? Laura, Stacy? Here's the lovely Miss Jessie and myself. I'll let the other girls share their pictures if they wish. She's equally gorgeous in person. I am so unbeliveably jealous of you guys, just because you got to see her live! I would give anything to hear her live. She really is one of my favourite artists. Thanks for the info on the album moon And you and Jessie look fab in the pic dude! |
