I assumed they were one hit wonders but people still talk about them. They must have some fans, but I am yet to meet any.

Oooh... forgot to put bands I hate. I used to be OBSESSED with AFI once upon a time... but now I cringe just thinking about them. The Kooks have catchy songs, not good, just catchy... but something about the lead singer, Luke, really annoys me. As someone who grew up in an almost purely reggae household, I can't listen to today's Jamaican artists because it depresses me.

Some bands I can't help but not like because in general (and you can generalize), their fans tend to be either annoying, assholes, tragically close-minded/ignorant, or, as in most cases, all those combined. For example, I'll always have a place in my heart for the Sex Pistols, but a few people I know who are self proclaimed "huge fans" of them, have managed to almost (but not fully, thank god) ruin them for me. All I can say is, if you want to intelligently argue (as in not just voicing your opinion to try and convince people that you actually have one) that the Clash are nothing compared to the Sex Pistols, you probably shouldn't let on that- (a.) White Riot, and that you've never heard of London Calling, let alone actually listened to the entire album; (b.) you don't know that the Sex Pistols technically only lasted three years or that Johnny Rotten was invited to join the band solely based on his look- even though he'd never sung before.

Well no, the Sex Pistols are actually a pretty bad example, seeing as how I don't hate them, but you get my point. Some bands just have not very nice fans. Kings of Leon, on the other hand, have very nice fans. Yay.

I hate emo. It all sounds the same. Other than that I'm pretty tolerant of most bands. Actually, no...I have an allergy to Coldplay.

I love The Clash & Sex Pistols too...and old school rock, and i grew up listening to my dad's Bob Marley records...& the likes of Lee Scrath Perry who are the greatest! And loads of folk music that my mom loves....
Ha, i hate emo and i hate all that drum & Bass/Hardcore clubbing anthem crap (that my brother listens to) and also bigheaded bastard bands who are overrated and obscene (like Razorshite who i already mentioned....and Klaxons) the Zutons i dislike...only because of that annoying valerie song and their sax player.

I hate all those emo bands, typical pop artists... and MTV shit in general, so I won't even mention any specific bands out of all that...

BJÖRK - I do hate her with a passion. She does my head in big time with all that "genius" image, but for me she's just a weirdo, and her music isn't great at all!

JAMES BLUNT - What is wrong with the world?? How can someone with such a voice sell so many records! It's embarrassing!! Shitty tunes as well!

KEANE - Is there any other band as boring as Keane?! Please, don't tell me if there is, I don't wanna know!

KAISER CHIEFS - Not that I hate them that much. I've seen them live and they are fun, but other than that... I would never buy any of their albums, let alone listen to the whole thing at home or anything like that!

MUSE - They had great songs, but I find them such a copy of Radiohead... And the day they decided to be more original, they turned into some kind of Britney Spears tribute band. Well done, Matthew.

DEPECHE MODE - They've got some GREAT songs, I know. But I just can't stand Dave Gahan, don't ask me why. It's just a strong and irrational hate.
