My girlfriend fainted at the Kings show in Argentina on saturday. I took her to the emergency tent and a member of the band staff showed up. He was a big guy in black and spoke Spanish. He said he "came with the singer" and started asking me private questions with a notepad, like my gf's complete name, age, address, if she was drunk o had drugs (?), etc. I refused to answer until he gave me an explanation on why he needed that information, but all he could say was "it's because the band worries about their fans" ( ) so I left. I know for sure he was a member of their staff because he had an ID and his accent was mexican or something. WTF is up with that. Do they think they're the CIA? Anybody knows why they do this?

I've been taken to an emergency tent at the Dutch Lowlands festival a few years ago, and the first aiders asked me all those questions as well. The drink & drugs question is so that they can make a better 'diagnosis' of why one is attended to the emergency tent. The personal questions were for insurance, in my case. I have no idea how things like that are dealt with in Argentina. And I find it indeed odd that someone with the band would ask those questions, instead of the caretakers.
I suppose you could still contact the venue and ask if this is standard procedure, otherwise you could maybe file a complaint for (a certain degree of) harassment.

This man was the only one who asked me those questions. The doctors just made sure she was okay and that was it. I asked them if they knew anything about this guy and if it was a standard procedure but they told me that they've been working at music festivals for years and that KOL was the first band which did something like that.
