The robins in my backyard have young ones by now! I can hear them squeak when Mummy or Daddy comes into the bush with food. And the parents still don't mind me being near, but they don't want me too near. They want about a meter space.

How's Jem? I've only talked to her about tea cups lately.

When I get closer to the robins, they just don't fly into their nest. I was standing too close to the bush when I saw one of them with their beak full of food on the fence and they just flew away again. I stepped aside three steps and 15 seconds later they came back, into the nest.
There's a couple of pigeons nearby as well, but at least not in my backyard. I don't have trees for them, just this flower bush with lots of leaves to hide behind. Even the magpie hasn't spotted it!

I have an ants family in the apartment. It's so lovely, they creep into everything sugary no matter how tight you close it The even come out of the keyboard.

Ooh ants, luckily they've stayed out of my house! They do have armies in my backyard, but so far they're staying there. I've had mousy visitors as well (indoors!), but all four have been professionally dealt with. Ali, how's Brucie doing? I think naming the little fucker is your biggest problem, it makes him feel welcome!

I have quite a range of small birds in my backyard. Some tits (I had to look up what they're called in English and it made me giggle), lots of sparrows and ofcourse my robins.
