Looks like Wikipedia was updated with the following: The couple welcomed baby boy Cameron North Patrick Followill to the world late in the evening April 22nd, 2011."
This could all be fake but since these two are sooo secretive I would understand why neither Nathan or Jared have announced anything on twitter (although there was Jared's YAYYYYYYYY tweet on the 22nd)
Wish they would officially announce it already so we can all be happy for them!

Yes I've read it, too. I find it really cool but at the same time kind of sad. KOL are having children now, that's the last step of giving up the carefree, wild rockstar life. Nah what am I saying, I'm really happy for him  Maybe he'll inspire some good songs!! |

First of all congrats to Johanna and Matt (they're my favourite KOL couple btw  ) But I feel you Clara, it's kinda sad that they're not all about the music and wild rock'n roll life anymore.. they're almost all married , I can barely believe it! they're still pretty young to start families, but I guess they like it this way so we can only be happy for them and wish them well *runs watching some 2004 performance* |

I don't really believe any 'news' on Wikipedia, especially not when it credits a site that doesn't even have any info coming up on Matt when you search for it. I'm more likely to go by Jared's tweet.  However, if the news is true: many congratulations to the parents! Hope that the birth was smooth & that the baby's healthy. |

If the news is true, massive congratulations to Matt, Johanna and both families. Kids don't have to mean the end of anything; just look at Dave Grohl. He's still rocking at 41 and with a couple of kids |

Yea and what about Jack White? Seems like he only got more productive after his kids were born. And let's not forget Ozzy! He never stopped being any less rock 'n roll!!!
Not that Matt is Mr. Rock 'n Roll with his quiet, background position, but I don't see how him being a daddy now will change things (for the band) massively.

oh wow i was going to ask if anybody heard any news about the baby! if the news are actually true: CONGRATULATIONS!!! to the lovely couple and their families. hope everyone is healthy i actually thought that nathan or jared would post at least a tiny tweet about the birth but on the other hand matt knows how to keep his private life private. so he might've asked nathan and jared NOT to tweet about it. whatever. since the baby was due over a week ago i assume the news are right. again: congratulations! ps: a co-worker and friend of mine is having her first baby too, the baby's due in september and it's so exciting just to see how her bodys changing and how the babys growing. a little wonder i guess. sorry, i'm a little bit emotional these days  |

Jared did tweet a very enthusiastic "Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" 2 weeks ago (without further explanation), so it could be assumed as an announcement. He's also mentioned in one of the Talihina Sky interviews that one of them [the band] had become a father.

Hah, Jared's Yay! tweet was totally about Knox' birth!  I like the name; I don't think it's too 'celebrity.' Could've been a lot worse, though I guess it's usually girls that end up with the loopy fruity names. |
