Kings of Leon announce new Australian tour dates AMERICAN rock band Kings of Leon have announced their rescheduled Australian dates. The band postponed their March tour due to drummer Nathan Followill recovering from surgery after sustaining a bicep injury. The show planned for March 17 at Rod Laver Arena will now take place there on Sunday November 13. The March 18 show is rescheduled to Monday November 14. Ticketholders can present their original ticket to gain entry to the venue. Those unable to attend the new dates can get a refund from point of purchase before February 18. Why has this not been posted in since April?! Where's the Aus KOL love people! The boys rocked Australia big time, I was lucky enough to do every show with them & seriously every night it was like seeing them for the 1st time. Live they never fail to impress me! Highlights of the tour ~ hearing Pyro, No Money & Mi Amigo live for the 1st time in Sydney, rediscovering my love for Revelry...that song is stunning live!, meeting Jared after the 1st melbourne show <3, FINALLY hearing Arizona live at the 2nd Melbourne show..there were tears & the 3rd Melbourne show which happened on my birthday...we'd been tweeting the guys all tour to play McFearless & what did they play on my birthday, McFearless!!! So much love & respect to them after this tour, they showed me the love all tour & I will never forget it. Can't wait for them to hit Australia again  |

Thanks I did! It was a very cool and a very surreal moment. Short version of the story ~ I got chatting to Doug, once he heard that I was doing the whole tour & that one of the shows was on my birthday he said he wanted to get me an early birthday present, I thought he was joking lol and then next thing i know Doug walks back out & hands me a piece of paper that was a Happy Birthday note from Doug & the guys, it has all their signatures on it & a lil note from Jared. Absolutely blew me away that someone i had only just met would even think of organising something like that for me & that the guys would even do something like that. Is very special, means the absolute world to me, there may have been tears & OMG was said quite alot that night  |

Really does! You may be the person to ask....at the last gig in Perth Caleb did his lil talk thing in between Knocked Up & Sex On Fire. Was a pretty special moment for me & I am so hoping someone caught it on camera but i haven't been able to find it yet! If you come across it could you please let me know |

I feel like i'm twitter famous lol So many people have said they know me from twitter after the KOL tour. Least I was able to talk to Doug, got near Jared & I seemed to lose the ability to make decent conversation Was just one of those really cool moments that you never think will happen Thanks Erin. Yeah have got Lyanne & Dani on the look out for me too, if that vid ever surfaces we will find it! |
