Just saw on KOL website. Support acts will be The Prodigy, Kasabian, glasvegas and The Blizzards. Pretty sure the band that blasted KOL at V Festival won't be opening for them.

I'm just reporting what the official website says. Scroll down to the very end of the announcement.. www.kingsofleon.com/pages/news/2437

Oops my mistake. That was the support for Oasis in 2009. I am not with it at all! The excitement is getting to me!

^^^^ I was thinking that when I looked at the support act cuz I was at Oasis' Slane.
I vowed never to go to Slane again cuz it took nearly four hours to find our bus to get home after Oasis! But this is going to be amazing so I'm so there! Can't wait!

I thought it was a strange selection of bands to go with KOL too (only Glasvegas made sense to me), so it's good that's cleared up then!

So it sold out in no time!! Can't believe it like...It's 80,000 capacity!! My cousin couldn't tickets for himself and his girlfriend so it looks like there's only me and my friend going now But they've announced a gig in the point...For the 11th Dec...I'm gonna try for it anyway

Didnt get my tickets today as I'm stony broke, but I seriously don't believe its sold out. MCD will do their usual trick of releasing more tickets closer to the gig. Not going to make the O2 gig as i just don't have the cash and I'm not that fond of the last 2 albums to be spending that kind of money. But yeah Slane...Slane is special and its gonna be a fucking great day out, with hopefully some seriously sunny weather

All good thanks, funny you mentioning hte black keys, went to glasgow last month to catch the boys..Brilliant gig. I'm actually praying really really hard that they might do support at Slane. That would make my day!! Slane will be totally rocking. 2001 was that the U2 gigs? Think that was the last time i was there. My first time there was for GnR way back in 1992. Also caught the Neil Young/Pearl Jam and REM/Oasis gigs there...Its such an amazing venue. Half thinking of bringing my wee woman, it'll be her first gig hope to see you there chick and hope things are well with you xx Oh and for anyone who doesnt have tickets yet, keep checking ticketmaster everyday as I saw on Boards that people are still managing to get tickets randomly

cheers erin! didnt realise hyde park had been announced yet, also rumours that nathans arm/bicep might not have recovered in time for slane? although i highly doubt that considering the amount of time between his op and slane!

I'm not saying those are the correct names, but it seems logical.
As for Nate's shoulder. They did have to postpone the Australian & South African dates that were scheduled for next month, but right after that news some US dates were announced for April. So it's expected that Nate's shoulder is properly healed by then.
