No Money. (on the album) However, for sheer joy, sadness, tears and laughter that Southbound inspires during live performances, it's incomparable. Btw, because at least to me, this song is so radically different when it is live, I've decided to call the album version "Back Down South" and the live version "Southbound". Ha! I do that, too! Southbound is one of my very fave KOL songs. But Back Down South is one of my least favorites on CAS It's just not the same song. Southbound is marvellous live, I didn't think you could possibly ruin that song so much and turn it into such a schmaltzy country ballad that it ended up being on the record.

^ Same goes for me. I'm still not keen on the album version, what I knew and loved as Southbound is a different song to Back Down South.
I voted No Money, definitely the stand out track for me. I really hope they play this in December!

The Immortals is my favorite followed by The End. I guess I'm the only one who likes Immortals.

I did notice a drop in power/energy on the album version of Back Down South, and I did find a really good live version that I added to my iPod that I'll listen to along with the album. At least the album version is more clear but the other one is more powerful, so, best of both worlds! I'm kinda surprised Pickup Truck is winning the poll!! I think it's #3 for me now, it moved up since yesterday!

Just listened to the entire album yesterday and so far The End is my fave with The Immortals running a close second and Back Down South rounding out my top three. That could change in a few days though after spending more time with the album.

Caleb's voice on Beach Side is just absolutely perfect.

I voted for No Money. The track has this raw energy like "Black Thumbnail" that is just legit. Pony Up is a good one too. 9-13 are amazing. As for CELEBRATION, if they made a whole album of stuff like Celebration then that album would be their "Achtung Baby." Not saying it sounds like U2, but if they did a record like the Celebration song it would be a game changer, a "Holy shit, what next."--In a good way.

I agree, Rexrupert...I sometimes wonder if they're not letting themelves go in that direction because it seems to scary. In my opinion, it would be the best thing they could do. Although I do love this album as it is, (minus Beach Side and most of Birthday )

Pony Up is amazing. From the moment it started I my eyes lit up at that bassline and then when the guitar kicks in, it's just so funky and cool. Love it. If The End wasn't on there, it'd be my favourite I think.

^ So The End is your favorite? That doesn't surprise me because it very much reminds me of Closer. I think Pyro would be my 2nd choice. I love that I saw it live for the first time, so it's special to me.

It is. And you're right, it does, haha. Predictable much? I find it hard to choose between Pyro, Pony Up and Pickup Truck as number 2 really. I think Pony Up just edges in there because of the bass but it's a close run thing. Chris would be so jealous of you hearing it live - it's his favourite. He loved it from the word go.

Pickup Truck is my next favorite! I'm liking this record so much more than I expected. I wish there was a good video of the first night Pyro was played. It was magical. :') Caleb sang with such passion and it was hard to keep myself togehter... okay I'll stop being over dramatic now.

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna cry when I see them live. I'll feel dumb as hell for it, but it's almost inevitable.

I always feel dumb.. but we're females so it's acceptable. that's what I've always told myself. I tried to be half way normal last time. I felt like Caleb was watching me.. though I know he wasn't.

wow, i really thought a lot more people would like 'beach side' but actually a lot of people on here really DISLIKE it it gives me the same feeling i had when i first listened to 'fans' in 2007, cause calebs singing is so different on it. i can't sit still in my car when 'beach side' starts. and it starts quite a few times i can tell ya

I like Beach Side but for me it's a bit like Notion - it's nice and easy on the ear, but it just doesn't float my boat. I like Pony Up more and more after a few more listens. I really wasn't sure about it at first but it's definitely a grower.
