Bumping this thread cos I have some new questions.
- Would you consider letting fans vote for your setlist? (i.e. let them dictate what they want you to play?) - Do any of your instruments have names?

haha i would be totally boring. i'd ask them to tell me the exact lyrics of parts i dont understand. and i would ask what some of the songs mean ("she had problems with drinking milk"). and how they like this song and what they think of that one. basically i would listen to all their albums with them and ask them to tell me everything about it

I'd ask them why they keep playing the three songs I don't want them to play: Notion, Use Somebody and SOF.

yeah i'd do that to. at the end of the interview i'd probably tell them how bad most of their new stuff is... and i would make them confess that too by comparing lyrics ("dirty belly of a secret town, cheap trick hookers hanging out...." or "blistered clacked an bleeding, cold no one should know, rain falls down a freezing and sticking like a snow" compared to "come on out and dance if you get the chance" or "if you give up NY ill give up tennessee" is too ridiculous to not notice). I mean it doesnt have to be poetic, even simple stuff like "she came up to me said why are you so skinny and pretty for a boy, i said thanks for the insult...." is great.

Dream. Come. True.
Other things I want to know: - Nate, do you ever actually read what everyone Tweets to you? - What would your "last meal" be? - Would you ever watch "The Human Centipede"? - What's your favorite drug you've ever done? - We know you went to church all the time when you were kids, but do you ever go now?
Lot's more I can't think of now....

I've noticed Caleb's devolution of word use and metaphors. Still is able to carry a profound theme in his songs though. I'd like to ask him if its his whole mind set that has changed since he was younger to want to write more polished, general public approved lyrics. If he finds ambiguity in his writing to be pointless or if he just lost that ability (a bitchy question, but bitchy interviewers initiate interesting answers). Also agree with Mad. Do they still come on here? And how often? And how angry are they at how shameless and perverted we can all be?

What's the deal with "Rememo"?
This song intrigues the hell out of me.

Nik, so funny. I was listening to Rememo just last night and thinking to myself, "I still have no idea what is going on here, but I love it."

Haha, it's such a curious song.
I guess people assume that it's about a rapist, going on a "hunt" for a new victim.
It's actually one of my favorite KOL songs of all time, but I think it's such a strange one. Like, why did they decide to end the album with it? What was the inspiration behind it? ASH seems like such a "personal" album, everything from impotence to STDs to ex-girlfriends to Jared being bad, yet "Rememo" seems totally impersonal and just sort of there. There are so many questions I have.

Yeah but is the whole song about STDs or just the 'Pistol of Fire' part. Because I don't see anything STD related in the rest of the song... Maybe thats just me (:

The initial title of the song was actually "Ayahhhh", which supposedly was mimicking the howl of a certain band member while he was peeing. So it's about STDs in a few different ways.

We all know you're giant Oklahoma Sooners(BOOMER SOONER!) fans, but do you go for any of the NFL teams?

This is kind of a convoluted version of "what's your favourite song" but I'd love to know (because it's something I do often) what song they'd "recommend" or define as THE KoL song. Or at least from each album...
And I'd LOVE to know (from Nathan, Matt & Jared) which song / artist they consider to be their eye-opening musical moment, a la Caleb with 'Crimson & Clover'.
