I was just going to post that, saw it in the sun, glad to see there are more reliable sources saying the same thing lol
But I have been thinking, ever since last year, they have practically headlined every festivals they were in, so my thought is, whats left to achieve if they always get on top ? Its not even a rant, just a random thought, and to be honest I quite like the fact they are headlining because, well only the best headline festivals right ? I have never seen bands like that before, headlining not only one festival, but all the rest. I dont know if I make sense, sorry if I am rambling. Most bands you see, headline one festival one year and then return to low stages the next. The I guess it means the Kings are on top and there to stay, which is great. But the top is only as far as one can go.
Lots of 'headlines' sorry lol

Shocking... hah.
Although, Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, Paul Weller, Editors - might be worth a day ticket.
Decisions, decisions...

Yeah I'm only going for the day. I actually hate V... full of chavs I swear?
Someone else was saying about how they've headlined basically every festival now, I swear all they have left to do out of the big ones is Isle of Wight?

Yup. Probably going to be the worst crowd you could imagine. Tons of people go to V just to 'go to a festival' like "Kings of Leon, they did that Sex on Fire song didn't they? Oh and that other one..."... *slap*
But yeah day ticket is mighty tempting, especially as it's Sunday at Weston Park.

Yeah, if I remember correctly last time the crowd weren't toooo bad SOF wise, but still audible more compared than the rest. I just remember it being really violent?! So they're doing Sat at Chelmsford?

I think you missed Cheryl Cole off that list Seriously thinking about a day ticket for the site in Staffs. On more thought it isn't worth it. Ticket will probably be £70, and I've already seen KoL (obvs), Stereophonics, Weller, Editors (twice) and even Cheryl Cole with Girls Aloud. If I can find a cheap ticket close to the day/they wow me with Hyde Park setlist (hahahahaha) I'll probably go, but otherwise I'm not going to worry about it.

Supposedly it's £80 a day ticket, which I think is really steep. I'd pay that for Reading because that line up is normally a hell of a lot better, but V? I'd hate the thought of being stuck at home whilst they're playing, so I will pay it. At least Editors and Passion Pit are playing that day too I suppose.

^^^ Thats whats putting me off. Looked at weekend + camping, 'cos getting there and back just for a day ticket was a pain, and thats 165 quid.
Hmmmmm.

I'd love to go, hate the thought of them playing relatively close and not being there. But there is no way that my bf and I can afford £160 between us plus travel just for a day. It's killing me that they keep announcing these dates that we can't go to! We're just holding out for some normal tour dates later in the year. And for Rach to grab a sweaty towel (well, I am, the bf isn't)

I am so fucking fucked off it's unbelievable. Fed up of fucking ticket sites putting me in the queue at 9 on the dot, then chucking me out or making me wait a ridiculous amount of time, then telling me there's no tickets. Gigs and tours keeps failing on me, ticketmasters the biggest pile of WANK EVER!!!!! Someone needs to fucking sort out that website, gonna write an email I think cos this is 2nd week in a row it's played up. This time it's even worse cos I'm missing out on KOL. I'm gonna have to fucking ebay some point nearer the festival, fuck off am I paying double for a shit festival though, fucking wankers. Sorry but this ticket queueing system is the biggest joke going.

Okay double post. Finally got through on stargreen, so glad that site exists. I don't mind paying a bit more seeing as they're the only site who would let me through! oddly after I got mine gigs and tours loaded and said it was sold out too. So relieved!

Got a weekend ticket pretty much just for KOL. As soon as I saw they were playing I knew I was gunna get a ticket, even though a few of my friends have said V isn't a great festival. The lineup is pretty good though.. Kasabian, Editors, Passion Pit, Florence and White Lies should get me through it.

Apparently there will be a live stream of the festival on V Festival's site. Is there any way to record live streams? Maybe we'll finally get a good version of "Pick Up Truck" then.
I wish I could go to the festival. It sucks british festivals are always sold out so fast. Here you can still get tickets to big fetsivals even on the festival day itself, they're never sold out. Oh well, hopefully the live stream will be good and they'll actually stream KOL's show.
