Pah, such a goody-goody! it's over a weekend anyway, aint it? I know the world is upside down, but i think in New Zealand they still have the same weekends? besides, you are brilliant, with all your biology/chemistry stuff. Missing a couple of classes wont put a major dent on your schooling. Aah don't tempt me I'll just live vacariously online and cry lots and pretend like I don't care (Then pass my exams and find an amazing well paid job and get the bands to come and play for me at my house. I like setting myself realistic goals ) Kudos for setting realistic goals! Erin, why dont you come? You didnt come for the Features. At least come for this. People will be totally smitten with your English accent and will let us backstage for any band!

I am one of the lucky ones who gets to go, thankfully I was convinced into going back to Nashville I would have been devestated if I had decided not to go and this was announced. Woohoo! I am really hoping for some new stuff and a good mix of oldies...no SOF would be a dream come true

If you pay for my flight (and organise my ticket) and I can crash on Carrie's couch, then I can definitely throw in my accent for backstage access.

Eeee I hope I can go. I'll have to wait and see. I know no plans have been made yet, but what's the hotel situation? Are people sharing?

It sounds like a lot of fun - I'd love to go, but will have to wait a couple of months to see what my school/work situation is. Meh.

Just read this: Kings of Leon It's very possible they could be playing in front of the largest crowd they've ever seen, which is fitting for a group of dudes who came from Tennessee and went on to conquer the universe via the power of their last album. The 80,000 lighters that will go up in the air during "Use Somebody" should provide one of the better visual moments of the weekend. Suddenly, the idea of 79 982 people behind me sounds scary rather than exciting.

The port-a-potties scare me too.

I can hold it in like a camel! But the 80K people behind me--yes, that scares me. I always like to have an easy escape route. I guess i'll just have to jump on stage, if it starts to go down.

Its not too hard to get to the front at a festival cos the crowds always change during the day, so long as you get there a couple bands before KOL, when i saw them in alabama i got to the venue at 7pm cos of delayed flights and walked straight through the crowd to the barrier just saying excuse me as i went through
